And anything deep or outside. Sounds familiar...
LOL!
Yeah.
He's not a safety I would be interested in if I were the Cowboys.

Swearinger isn't a bad player and a 6th or 7th seems fair, but he doesn't love football enough to be on this team.
I thought he was really good in college and that includes in coverage.
Who said anything about his price?
Outside of his atrocious attitude, he doesn't upgrade a position. He has no flex ability and he wont play special teams.
Yessir you know it would! One of my favorite former Gamecocks!
Hes not better than Jeff Heath? Hes not better than Keelan Johnson?
D.J. Swearinger - DB - Free Agent
Texans waived SS D.J. Swearinger.
The 57th overall pick in the 2013 draft, Swearinger wore out his welcome quickly under no-nonsense coach Bill O'Brien, struggling mightily in coverage and often taking bad angles in run defense. The Texans tried trading Swearinger before cutting him, but found no takers, likely because of his bad game tape. Still, Swearinger is only 23 years old and will likely be claimed off waivers.
