It is okay to have average players at some positions. The problem is not the positions in which the Cowboys are average; the problem is the positions in which the Cowboys have starters that are either below average or bad.

I think we can do better at RT and that is one of the positions where average can hurt you.

I like that choice!! Small school player, but he's actually quite good. I remember when Sam Houston played North Dakota in the playoffs last year. He was a good player.

So LVE can’t play and is always hurt. Cox is coming off a big injury. Parsons is at best a nose to the ball freelancer. They are going to need him at DE as well. This team desperately needs physical, assignment following LBs. They are super thin here. I couldn’t disagree with you more.

And I couldn't agree with you more BUT there is still time to either A)Trade for one or B)sign a serviceable one via FA. Long shot but it can happen. I expect next pick or two to be a LB, for what it's worth.

By releasing those players and not signing any FA replacements, we all knew they were picking G/T, Edge, WR, TE. Several posters on this board called each pick rounds in advance. They drafted purely for need this draft.
