Duh. Not even Bears/Packers for the NFC North title would take precedence over the ratings bonanza that is the Cowboys.

But man, it really is freaky how similar every season in the Garrett era has shaped up. 8-7 and playing Sunday Night Football for all the NFC East marbles against each of our 3 division opponents. It's like a perfect circle of mediocrity. I mean, you'd think at least one of these years, 8-7 wouldn't be good enough to play for the division, but this is one area where the Cowboys actually have been fortunate the past few years.

pretty much the worst hell a team can be in...not good enough to make the playoff and not bad enough to get a decent pick. The GM also assumes that eventually the team will break through one of these years so nothing changes.
