I have to admit I've been back and forth on Dak throughout his career. 2016 I foolishly thought him and wentz would the big names in the league. Think it was 2018 some flaws in Dak came to light which he manage to overcome. I just think he is at the tail end of his career now. He is never going to be as good as he was a few years ago. I don't think he is the long term answer that will lead the cowboys to a championship at this stage, especially with the up coming salary cap woes he will create.Cowboys fans: Appreciate your QB, appreciate your team, enjoy these Cowboys
I appreciate them, all of em. I just dont believe in the owner, GM, HC or QB. You can appreciate and not believe in them at the same time. Makes the inevitable January heartache more bearable.
Did you watch the film I included in my opening post?I have to admit I've been back and forth on Dak throughout his career. 2016 I foolishly thought him and wentz would the big names in the league. As for appreciating the cowboys: Game day I go into each game optimistic, even if during the week I think we will lose if the team is better than us. You hope the cowboys will prove you wrong and you go into watching the game assuming that they will. When the game is over, it is okay to be critical about what you believe are flaws with the team. Heck if fans wouldn't get mad, teams wouldn't have incentive to try to fix those flaws, if they get an automatic cash flow.
Just the first 2 minutes, because besides the opposing players saying some things, the guy sounded just like some of our fans. I'm more commenting on the subject matter of the thread, film seems like usual propaganda material that you'll either already agree with, or disagree with, or for some you can say yeah Dak was great on those play but he has other flaws. Me, I just think we've already seen the best version of Dak a few years ago, and this version is less athletic as the one a few years ago. I mean, I'm sorry, but I don't think anyone is going to change their minds from watching some youtube vids. Do you honestly think that Dak is still getting better?Did you watch the film I included in my opening post?
Absolutely. You should watch the whole film and get better informed of what Dak is accomplishing this season.Just the first 2 minutes, because besides the opposing players saying some things, the guy sounded just like some of our fans. How is that not just spending close to 15 minutes of my time, watching some Dak propaganda you want everyone to watch? If they first 2 minutes didn't seem fruitful I have to watch the whole thing?Absolutely. You should watch the whole film and get better informed of what Dak is accomplishing this season.
Then why remark if you haven't watched the video? Who is speaking propaganda: you or the video creator? How is that not just spending close to 15 minutes of my time, watching some Dak propaganda you want everyone to watch? If they first 2 minutes didn't seem fruitful I have to watch the whole thing?
You get the gist of what the thread is about from the title which is the subject matter. Is there really something new in the video that would change anyone's mind that requires watching the whole thing? Then why remark if you haven't watched the video? The video creator lists all of Dak's season statistics and compares them to whom everyone rates as the current best QB in the NFL: Mahomes. It's a good comparison and gives some insight as to how well Dak is playing this season. You get the gist of what the thread is about from the title which is the subject matter. Then it is time to pay Dak Prescott accordingly. Correct? The video creator lists all of Dak's season statistics and compares them to whom everyone rates as the current best QB in the NFL: Mahomes. It's a good comparison and gives some insight as to how well Dak is playing this season.
'Nuff Said...
GO COWBOYS!
How much should Jerry pay him?Dak is playing well now.
Dak played well last sunday, but the concerns remain about his pocket awareness and metal lapses at critical times. I mean the whole team had mental lapses, but you expect the leader of your team not to have them, to be able to set an example to the rest of the team. The video creator lists all of Dak's season statistics and compares them to whom everyone rates as the current best QB in the NFL: Mahomes. His agent would definitely argue that, but I hope Dak gives the Cowboys a discount. Then it is time to pay Dak Prescott accordingly. Correct?
Keep him at $40 million. That's plenty of money per year. Dak needs to help the team like the team already helped him.How much should Jerry pay him?
The old “pocket awareness” argument. As if any fan that ever existed can appreciate what pocket awareness even is. “meNtal lapses”…if Dak ever had one you couldn’t identify it. He’s a very good quarterback and is being paid like one and will continue to be paid like one. His next contract will make him the highest paid QB in the NFC.Dak played well last sunday, but the concerns remain about his pocket awareness and metal lapses at critical times. I wouldn't know or care right now. More concerned with this season and glad that we are contendingHow much should Jerry pay him?
