Kevin Gogan was a mean SOB. So was Erik Williams. Ed Jones took a year off in the middle of his career to box professionally and Ken Norton was the son of the man that broke Mohammed Ali's jaw.

Among the old school guys was Leroy Jordan, Mike Ditka, and Cliff Harris.

In the 90's besides Williams there was Bill Bates, Michael Irvin, Charles Haley, and, believe it or not, Chad Henning. The former academy graduate had a temper, got benched for going all out on QB'a during the scrimmage one season. Put a shot on Warren Moon that drove the Oiler coaches insane.

Seriously, however, the last man anyone wants to tangle with was Larry Allen. He threw a few people around including his kicker for missing a field goal and pointing the finger at his snapper.

I honestly think all of the currents would win minus Haley and Glover. Men may have been tougher in the 80s and 90s but men are built different now. Tyron is like King Kong
