this.

henry was never about to come here. that the story is that jj said no is just to save jerrys face.

just leave the case be i say.
Yep. I guess another narrative helps people cope but this is typical Jerry. He didn't offer because he knew he'd turn him down. Now that still doesn't make sense. It definitely shows his incompetence letting his ego dictate what moves he makes.

Don’t disagree
Should have gotten a another RB but it’s understandable that they didn’t want to go after an older vet
Yep. I'm pissed at not even trying to get Henry but the smarter move would've been to draft a guy. They didn't. Now we find ourselves looking to draft someone in the 1st or 2nd round this year.

Trade back to the late first/early second and pick up a first the next year….and pick Chris Jones and Henry on 2016 instead of Zeke. Never know with the draft though.
Yeah I mean it's genius if you do it but that's hindsight I think most saw Henry as a solid back....probably the second best behind Zeke. This dominance from Chris Jones....he would've been a top 10 pick if people saw it coming.

But yeah trading back and compiling picks and snagging Henry and Chris Jones would'v set us up nicely.

I don’t think Dallas does a great job of placing their players in positions to succeed. So I could totally envision Jerry signing Henry and either not utilizing him, or underutilizing him…besides Jerry had Zeke as his premiere RB.
