The bad news for the Cowboys is that that quarterback is going to be under much greater pressure than his opposing counterpart.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't we induce more "Pressure/Hurries" as opposed to more sacks than they do?

The bad news isn't so bad considering the OL we have waiting for that Philly pass rush.

The Jaguars have 33 and they're 1-10. And they managed to give up 4 against us and we gave up only 1. I'm not saying to compare the Eagles to the Jags, but I'm saying that one stat doesn't mean much of anything. It's not a surprise to anybody that we have one of the worst pass rushes. That doesn't mean the Eagles are gonna have a field day on Romo. I have faith in our offensive line, especially after Bennie Logan (whoever the heck that is) decided to open his fat mouth. Something tells me the line aren't going to take his comments too kindly.

Philly's gap control hasn't been very good from pinning their ears back coming after the QB so that should open things up for Murray to have a big day.

The good news for the Cowboys is that they have the better quarterback.

The bad news for the Cowboys is that that quarterback is going to be under much greater pressure than his opposing counterpart.

Screen passes, some genuine blitz pickup (no repeat of Commanders game,) and 30 carries for Murray, please?
.

On a side note the Cowboys OL doesnt give up sacks. Only time they have is the Commanders game. Jags and Giants have tried the same thing but Dallas has adjusted its asignments. And the MIddle of the of the OL has taken that middle blitz out. Theres a difference in size of the defenses between the Commanders and Eagles too. Just because the Commanders were able to do that that game doesnt mean the Eagles can. And ill point out Weeden pretty much marched up the field on that Commanders defense after the OL adjustments. I think Weeden stays in that game Cowboys win instead of going to OT. Romo couldnt move.

The Eagles have a better defense than we do, by a reasonable margin. Our offense is a lot more effective than theirs is, by a wider margin. That probably gives us the matchup advantage, overall, assuming they don't beat us with STs.

The QB advantage we have alone is pretty significant. Home game, on a short week, this is a game we have to win today if we want to get where we're going. I'm not too worried about the PHI pass rush, overall, though. We've got a huge advantage with our OL and running game, and tons of weapons to beat pressure with.

Only better via sacks.

Overall
Dallas 16
Philly 26

Pass
Dallas 19
Philly 30

Run
Dallas 13
Philly 16

Is that yards?

What about per drive? Because I would bet the Eagles defense has been on the field more.

Ok, thanxs that clears it up. Yards per drive is the better take of a defense.
