Again, another not very meaningful statistic. We hit on four big time, HOF picks in Ware, Tyron, Witten, and Zack. When you have those perennial pro bowl players it spikes your numbers. Those guys got quite a few pro bowl appearances on reputation late in their careers.
I think a better measure is the number of players who have made pro bowls or even the number who had careers longer than expected for their draft round.
Better still -- how many absolute clunkers did we have? Carpenter, Charlton, Goodrich, Carter, Dixon, Rodgers, Escobar, Jaylon ... all premium picks. How does that compare to other teams?
