They're gonna name it SilverBear Stadium, 'cause Jerry appreciates my efforts on all these message boards...

I would just like to get on the record that I think with two huge 1/4 mile arches in the stadium... McDonald's as a corporate sponsor would be just too perfect.

It really does. I noticed it while I was watching the "Build It Bigger" show earlier this week.

Surely McDonald's, Jerry, or someone has made the connection.

McD Stadium in Big D... home of the quarter pounder and the quarter mile arches. :

McD and Big D. Quarter mile arches and Golden arches. It goes together like peanut butter and jelly.

No way we do a deal with McDonald's. We would have to paint those arches gold and that would mess with the color scheme.

I was just being sarcastic with the OP. I do believe that there are better ways to honor Tom Landry other than naming the new stadium After him.

I think if we were all able to ask Tom Landry in Heaven, he would insist that Jerry take advantage of the billion dollar naming rights opportunity rather than throw it away on his behalf, because, "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."

Why do you assume the two are mutually exclusive?
