Parker welcomes all corners, all safeties to visit his office any time. He has only one condition: You better come in hot with questions. You better be ready to talk — a lot. Nobody is allowed to waltz in empty-handed. He wants both his office and his DB meeting room resembling those poli-sci classes at Richmond. Whether it’s an element of the gameplan… an adjustment… a clue… something they noticed on film, the defensive backs are constantly bringing up specifics to serve as a launching pad into a lengthy discussion.

That way, they’re filling gaps and dotting i’s and cleaning things up 24/7.

I liked Jim Leonhard and wanted him to be the hire early on, but the more I listened, read, and learned about Christian Parker, I can see why he was the choice. I hope he can turn this defense into something special and fun to watch.

I agree. I'll take it a step further. Wouldn't be surprised if he stays in Denver. In time he may be the new DC in waiting. Vance Joseph will certainly get looks as a hc candidate.

I will come clean ...I thought he was gonna be decent...but in no way did I think he was gonna be as passive as he was. Part of me thinks he may have sabotaged the season because he was ticked off for being passed over the first time.

I'm guessing Leonhard told them he'll be going to NY with Harbaugh. At least they got one of their top choices. Hope he brings some new ideas to this raggedy defense.

The NY talk was just media speculation because everyone was excited about Harbaugh

Eberflus was awful in Chicago and here. I'm glad we're getting a fresh new voice. Plus, he's someone that's got a good track record and learned from some of the best DCs. Cooper DeJean of the Eagles isn't thrilled about him coming here. I think it's a good hire.

Might be the first positive I can buy into...Let's hope for more. Gonna have to do my homework ...Where did he play ball? Hopefully he not just some analytics guy.

Clark is far from washed. He performed well overall and was better after Quinnen Williams got here. Clark is nowhere near the player he was in his prime but he is still a quality starter.
