I'm liking it but why would not liking it = agenda? It's their opinion. Maybe they wanted a vet with DC experience. I just think these comments are unnecessary

Yeah this is not the typical guy who worked under Jerry and not just another yes man. Also not just another retread that got the job just because he had HC exp.

Not calling you out, but sad you said he will work under jerry. No mention of Scotty. Just weird we now just take this for granted so easily.

Another comment said maybe things didn't work for him (Parker) with Harbaugh, the HC, not a mention of the Mara's, the owners.

30 years of coaches not having control of team/players (discipline or selection) or staff members.

Having said that, hope he does well, we really are beat up in the secondary and that's supposedly his strength.

Some are claiming Rooney rule hire... If that's not a agenda I don't know what is. Also the no matter what the FO does, its a dumb move..

And he's certainly got a good track record, if he can get Bland back to being the pick 6 magnet he was along with Revel, we will be one scary team to play. Especially if we can get our run d even better and get our linebackers better.

I live up here in Philly. Blankenship had his struggles this year. While I don't take PFFs grades without a little bit of salt, it does tell you he struggled this year. There is a serious discussion up here about whether it's even worth it to bring him back.

Honestly, if nothing else, he might be good for knowing the system? Plus, if we can get Dean and Phillips as well, we'd have quite the infusion of talent. Or if we just get Blankenship and Dean from Philly, that would naturally make our team better. Plus, as much as Blankenship struggled this year, he might still be an upgrade over what we've got now lol.

I'm all for it!! And this isn't a typical Jerry hire, so I think you're probably right. And if this is a Schotty hire, then we might have something brewing that will be good. Its nice to see that we have actually competent coordinators now. That's huge for making a culture change for the better nowadays.

Jerry is horrible at hiring coaches and his record proves that. He had two good hirers and they were no brainers. Jerry only hires beta males to be coaches

I have no issue with anybody that still has confidence in Jerry hiring process but I watched this guy invite Deion over his house for a plate of Hog Maws to satisfy The Rule and then proceeds to ignore the Top HC candidates only to hire a man thats never done the job AND who no other team desired either.

Its not a "hate whomever Jerry hires"....its a "I Don't trust the mans hiring process"
