Brate is a starting caliber TE all the way. The guy is good. If we can get him for a 5th its a home run. 4th and I would do it. NO question about it.

Maybe. You know our front office is full of crap so anything is possible. Its clear they identified the need for a WR and changed their strategy mid season. Whos to say they haven't or wont do the same at TE?

Cooper is 24

Both are great uses of draft resources to solve 2 glaring weaknesses.

Brate has actually developed into a pretty good blocker as well hasnt he? He would be a great fit for the type of TE we like to use. This deal almost makes too much sense. Cmon Jerry, go get him!
