He was a 2nd round pick a few years ago. I believe it would be a rental since he is a FA after the season. He is still on the rookie contract which is affordable. He is a solid corner with lots of upside.

It depends if it’s a buy low move? Sure. If it’s a move to get for a 2nd or 3rd? I don’t get it.

I agree and I guess it allows us to move on from Gilmore next year too but I'd rather roll the dice on the CBs staying on the field and try another position.

Yeah I sort of had Gilmore penciled in as our starter next year barring a collapse.
