We don't know this for sure, it's an assumption, who is this player anyways
A very good CB who could replace Gillmore next year. It’s all about the price though. They aren’t giving a premium pick for a guy who they then have to pay big money too. But he’d be great to have, especially next year and beyond

True but he realizes that Philly will always be able to “afford” players that we allegedly can’t.

The salary cap only applies to Dallas when it comes to acquiring ballers in free agency
Yeah but he doesn’t even know if he’s a bum or not he might be worth a 7th rounder for all he knows lol.

The cap applies to the Eagles too. They lost CGJ, White, Edwards and Hargraves on defense. No one talks about that lol.

Why would Chicago trade Him?
Seems like an ideal player to build around, they can't be that badly off against the cap with a QB still on his rookie deal (and with all their capital in a QB rich draft quite possibly gone next year), He's the type of player a rebuilding team should look to keep, not an aging vet they need to move while he still has value.

I get the appeal, but this is too many resources on the wrong side of the ball.
