This just in "cowboys are interested in the word "interested" more at 10 o clock. As this happens with every team, and every agent, and every year. Sports teams looking for a better player at every position, the mystery continues.

Wait, Watkins was the one who said we were "interested" in Wesley Woodyard. And Robert Ayers.

This one was even dumber considering the connection from the Bears. He is drawing a line from A to B. In crayon though.

Clown.

Per Watkins on Twitter...

I always thought Jones wouldn't let Ware walk unless he had back channel discussions with someone like Peppers to replace him. May or may not be Peppers but its a very safe bet they aren't planning on starting Mincy next year.

I bet they'll offer Peppers roughly $5 mil a year, which is what they wanted Ware at.

He's had 11.5 and 7 sacks respectively over the last 2 years. Almost identical to Ware's 11.5 and 6. Plus Peppers hasn't missed a game since 2006, so while his body is slowing, it isn't breaking down. He'd easily be the best DE on the roster, though I know that isn't saying much.

Watkins just trying to get his twitter count up, or can't think of anything useful to write about. Or both most likely!

My nausea at the thought of either Selvie, Mincey or some other yet to be drafted rookie starting at RDE compels me to agree with you. Although my brain tells me that Peppers is not worth that kind of cash given the fact that most observers saw him be wildly inconsistent last season.

I don't know why I have never been impressed with peppers. He always seemed like he was lazy and took the majority of plays off. I think he was bitter he had to football over basketball.

Dude is a freak and will make a few mouth dropping plays, but he seemed destined for more if he cared
