Kept his balance against the greatest ever. Watch what LA's backup Christian Covington did to Tyler again.
That was rookie Larry Allen vs the 10 year NFL veteran and 6 time All Pro Reggie White.

Dallas won the playoff game vs Green Bay that season 35-9...

Post clips from 92 when Erik Williams whipped Reggie White so bad that RW cried on camera.

Larry didn't even go to the ground either.

Not crazy about Ball starting but I think he will. I think doing massive shuffle of the OL could weaken the entire unit. I would prefer to get a vet in here but should that not happen I think it will fall to Josh Ball to do the job
Maybe they can teach him how to hold and get away with it. And protect Dak.

Larry didn't even go to the ground either.

He got jacked up and got Garrett smacked in the mouth (not that that's a bad thing). You can't rescue your position here. The clip shows that even the most powerful O-lineman in the history of the game can get manhandled.

Tyler isn't a Larry Allen level freak but he is uncommonly strong, to the point that he can often just overpower some of the technique issues you raise.

Again- that was the GOAT. Tyler wasn't even facing the starter.

Against the backups in the preseason, sure. He's not going to get away with it week in and week out. This isn't Tulsa. If Vea gets inside his hands he's going to have a long debut.

I like that better than putting Smith out at LT. Just better roll Dak out to the right a lot.
Smith isn’t going to play LT. Listen to Jerry, it’s clear they aren’t going with Smith at LT

So you want the staff whose team led the league in penalties to start teaching them how to get away with penalties. Still don't think it'll work.

No, not really. But personally, I am so tired of the excuses this team comes up with. Year after year after year. It never ends. They should have gotten somebody back when they had a chance. The management of this team stinks.

This reminds me of Jaylon Smith telling teams to just watch his film.

The problem is, they did.

And the rest is history.

Lol, I remember that. Reggie also cried to the reporters after the 95 NFCCG.
