Three of the last four super bowl teams are NOT on this list: Bengals, Bucs and Chiefs.

The other one is the Rams and they never win the Super Bowl if they didn’t use free agency and trades to go get a winning QB and other impact players.

What’s sad is the Cowboys have the money, the cap space and the market appeal to go get guys but they refuse to.

Most fans have no idea that the Rams lost more then they got. For example.............they see them sign a guy like Wagner, but fail to realize they lost Von Miller. Then they see them sign a guy like Allen Robinson but fail to see that they lost Woods and Odell Beckham.

They dont have high draft picks so naturally they can only fill holes through FA. Where we filled the Gregory hole with Williams, they had to go out and sign a Wagner to replace Von Miller.

Cap boy loves cheap players.

And he also believes he is winning when he is far under the cap. Gets a medal or something. May even think it goes to his salary.

ditto thats all that is and it means nothing.

The jones boys have had a bad time in past with FA, because they are so dumb.
So now they avoid spending anything over 2 mil in FA like it is the plague.

Hence the peters holdup, he wants a decent salary, and they dont want to overpay, they want a bargain.
The overpaying is for dak elliot, jaylon, and other guys they like.
They are just fans trying to run a nfl team, so funny.

All but 3 players (Robinson, Anae, and Dinucci) from last 3 drafts (Fat Mike's draft) are on the roster. That's 24 out of 53 players who have 2years or less experience.
It has become Mike's roster and very young one at that.

Funny the Rams are third and everyone thinks they go all out in FA.

They do go all out in FA. The rank so high because they traded all their picks away and only have so few to actually use.

To be fair, they've played in 2 SBs in the last five years and won one.

This would be fine if we were elite at drafting and developing, but we're not. Jerry's just too dumb to construct an elite roster with the help of free agency and trades

The difference is that the Rams acquire top talent like Ramsey, OBJ, Vonn Miller and Bills acquired Diggs. While the Cowboys get leftovers in free agency.

There's more positive than negative in being no1 on this list.

We can spot talent and draft pretty well.

Other posters have said it, we overpay our good, not great players so Jerry's famous "pie" can't go round further to bring in 1 or 2 FAs who maybe could take us over the top.

I'm broadly sticking with "glass half full" though with my feelings on being top of this list.
