Technically two days into signings and how many RBs signed already is completely irrelevant.

Are we seriously having a debate right now that FAs available at the end of the month will come cheaper than the ones signed right away? This is, like, a thing we're doing?

I get your point and you are right, but realistically speaking he made 2 million last year and had 3 sacks. I don't know how much he's asking for now, but I don't think his price will drop that much between now and 2-3 weeks in.

Re-signing Greg Hardy is looking more appealing all the time.

an argument definitely can be made for giving a guy a second chance. an argument can even be made that off the field, he didn't do anything wrong after we signed him. but I just don't see how one could argue bringing him back when everything points to the coaches not wanting him. maybe it was his repeated lateness to meeting, maybe it was arguing with coaches on the sideline, maybe they questioned his effort, I don't know, but why would you think it's a good idea to bring back a guy who the coaches don't want?

Dumpster diving at the beginning of free agency.

Now that is a unique concept.

yeah thats not happening,Garrett was never a fan and now he feels vindicated.

I don't see where Garrett has the right to feel "vindicated" about anything. "Fortunate" to still have a job. "Grateful" that he's an adopted member of the Jones family. But I don't see where he should feel "vindicated" about Hardy.

Greg Hardy's tardiness goes back to college. If the Cowboys didn't know about it, shame on them. But sure, let Hardy leave and bring in this walking glacier. And then have the nerve to wonder why 2016's sack numbers look even worse than this year's.

Marinelli is quoted as saying he'd love to have him back.

maybe it was his repeated lateness to meeting

Twice. Two documented occurrences of being late. But people get a hold of some info and it becomes a tall tale.

maybe it was arguing with coaches on the sideline, maybe they questioned his effort, I don't know, but why would you think it's a good idea to bring back a guy who the coaches don't want?

Maybe because the rumors are a myth and that people just buy into them?

And again, who are these "coaches" who don't want him? Is Marinelli a liar?

If I remember correctly, when Clayborn was in the draft there was talk of him having some kind of degenerative shoulder issue.

So if we sign Clayborn, how many games can we expect him to play this year? 1 or 2 before going on season ending IR?

2011: 16 GP
2012: 03 GP
2013: 16 GP
2014: 01 GP
2015: 16 GP
2016: ?? GP

Anyone else see a pattern?
