Out of that list of Browns' QBs, I would hope that we are after Austin Davis

He has amazing talent in his arm, still. And of course can run.

But he has not had the opportunity to develop mentally beyond what he was in Atlanta.

Suddenly, Foles is "considering multiple offers" while Dallas is now "looking at multiple quarterbacks".

I'd rather have McCown than Foles but that is without taking into consideration salary or compensation that the Browns would ask for.

I see both as only backup QB's with no real starting future ahead of them. McCown at least has toughness and some grit. Of course he's old but in a backup role for a year or two he'd be fine.

Vick won games last year with the Steelers as a backup QB. They are like Dallas in a few ways as their defense was not good at all and have a very good offense

I like Foles but mostly b/c we don't have to trade for him. McCown for a late rounder though would be good. He seems the sort of backup who would be a good guy for both Romo and the #3
