Not for dak. Would you prefer to have a multi million dollar payday now or next year. Would you prefer to have a guaranteed deal worth upwards of 100 million now or wait a year. The investment potential is humongous now. The line of credit from your bank would give you the ability to conduct a series of investments. All those things would still happen next year, but why lose a year?

Yeah, it's in Dak's best interest to take a deal now. You have no idea what's going to happen in a year in the NFL.

We should have pushed to sign him early on. Instead we let the eagles and rams set the market then watch the market go up again. Bad planning by the front office. Everyone knows the longer you wait the more it will cost you.

Because we had an entire body of work last year with Trubisky and he was a mediocre / solid QB.

Dak through his first 3 games last year didn’t have a 200 yard passing game and had 2 TDs with 2 INTs.

I think some of you are just a little biased towards Dak... I mean that’s ok.. We are on a Cowboys forum and all.
