Nothing desperate about bringing in a receiver for a look that was a first round pick 3 years ago. A lot of receivers are a product of their QB go back to 2011 and look at the production Laurent Robinson produced that year.

He was kidding with the "desperate" part. Kind of a jab at the RB panicks

Kind of surprising how many didn't get the joke.

I am familiar with x so I knew, but I've read others posts that were from those less familiar to me that I assumed it was sarcasm only to read later posts to realize they were not joking.

Its an obvious attempt at taking a jab at posters who show concern with bringing in the running backs for workouts.
Of course its a weak jab since the OP fails to acknowledge the obvious gap in production and talent levels between this WR workout group VS the established WR's.
The same cant be said about the production and talent of the workout group of RB's VS the RB's currently on the roster.

No sense in saying much more.

The churning for competition is ever present on this team. Earn a slot...and then keep earning it. As to receiver, the team will be looking at 'veteran' sources from now to the start of the regular season.

Awsome thread. Yeah, they are also very desparate at long snapper, as I believe they brought in a UFA to compete. Not to mention a couple QB's.

I look at it this way, and I bring this question to this forum.
What is the greatest area of strength this team has improved over the past 3 yrs?
I would say talent evaluation.
Why not utilize your strengths?

Jenkins couldnt make it in SF or KC, who were desperate for WRs.

Yeah because UDFA and vets are the same thing. Yes for rookie minicamp they had 2 QB out there throwing. I don't think Dallas is desperate at RB I also do not think they are set at RB and will continue to look at vets to be able to come in and compete for more than a spot on a PS
If tomorrow Dallas turns around and trades a pick to get a RB then what will the smart remarks be?
