Not deadset on Anderson. But really do not understand the negativity about turning over rocks.

I'd still take a flyer on him for right price. Cowboys have an opportunity THIS season and improvement in any of the 3 phases should be a priority.

And let's stop pretending that the Cowboys have not had success with malcontents before.

Haley, TO, Hollywood, the Sphinx and even the Playmaker were beloved as Cowboys and did much worse than Robbie Anderson.

Anything we do I’d want to help beyond this year. Isaiah Simmonds/Derrick Brown are tempting at the right price but I don’t see it being a fire sale.

I’m still a little annoyed we didn’t pick up Bobby Wagner in the off-season.

I’d try to get Derrick Brown from the Panthers. He’s putting it all together this year and playing up to those pre-draft Kris Jenkins comps.

Panthers might want a 1 back for him. I’d do it because it’s the missing piece on this defense and gives you a young dominant force up front, but given the way the Jones boys have undervalued that position I doubt they’d even consider it.

Panthers WR Anderson just showed yesterday he his a malcontent towards coaching and DJ Moore's contract is over $20M/season so please stop suggesting those 2 as Dallas is not trading for that kind of headache.

Clearly the Dallas run defense is an issue and they need to find legitimate DT help and if they seek WR help do not expect a big name player.

Look for players such as the Raiders DE Clelin Ferrell (former 1st round pick who holds a 2022 salary hit of $9M prorated with a 2023 5th year rookie option) who is a good run defender, Jets WR Denzel Mims (still on rookie deal that pays him $1.7M in 2022 and $1.9M in 2023) who has not lived up to billing but has the size (6'3" 205) and his small sample size of almost 16 yards/reception might be worth a flier, the previously mentioned Cardinals LB/SS Simmons who has become a lost 1st round pick for them and could help the Dallas defense.

Why would you want to trade for someone else's version of Taco?

He meant a team trading away a player like Payne.
