Robbie Anderson is the more realistic and economical option. Reminds me a lot of Miles Austin.

Year one Austin or the one that stole money the last 3+ years? Concerning the same subject, this team is going nowhere without a MAJOR upgrade at WR.

Reminds me of pre-hamstrung Miles Austin.

You think ol Danny S is gonna trade us someone like Payne?

Would be a nice way to rub salt in the wound for poaching our 5th round pick NT when we waived him. Ridgeway has played ~30% DEF snaps for them the last 3 weeks.

I thought Moore is on a rookie deal? Did he get extended? But I'd be all for Brown the DT

Brown is a truly unique player you can build a defense around. I doubt they would trade him for anything less than a bounty of draft picks, and we all know Jerry loves the draft.

Anything we do I’d want to help beyond this year. Isaiah Simmonds/Derrick Brown are tempting at the right price but I don’t see it being a fire sale.

I’m still a little annoyed we didn’t pick up Bobby Wagner in the off-season.

Great point.

But I do trust Stephen to go cheap and screw up any opportunities.
Save this post for when Jerry is no longer with us. I think things will be much, much, worse when Stephen takes over. The only hope is that he hires a real GM but I doubt he goes that route.

WR DJ Moore or Robbie Anderson from Panthers would be ideal.

Commanders may also be sellers, CB Jackson is asking out and NT Payne should also be available.

Cardinals incompetence utilizing OLB/SS hybrid player Isaiah Simmons is akin to their misuse of Haason Reddick.

You still want Robby Anderson?

Naaah .. this is more a Fans fantasy league act and pipedream

We're not a situation like Amari Cooper trade.
Not so desperate and pressed where we need that kind of trade.

and no player on the block is that much of a difference maker ..or worth it.

i really like a McCaffrey but not only is he extremely injury prone and non-available, but Kellen would make his skill set worthless

I think we've basically reached the point where there just aren't upgrades available in free agency or the draft. We've drafted ourselves into a corner here.

Time to draft and sign some back-ups then.

Not deadset on Anderson. But really do not understand the negativity about turning over rocks.

I'd still take a flyer on him for right price. Cowboys have an opportunity THIS season and improvement in any of the 3 phases should be a priority.

And let's stop pretending that the Cowboys have not had success with malcontents before.

Haley, TO, Hollywood, the Sphinx and even the Playmaker were beloved as Cowboys and did much worse than Robbie Anderson.

So hypocrite all you want, I'm just looking for ways to keep winning.

Hell, throw out your own names.
