That's true but Fields fits the mold of Hurts and they could replicate that. I'm sure Quinn is working on defending that.

No, they can't.......Field is nowhere near as good as Hurts right now and doesn't have the same offensive threats. The Eagles offense forces teams to prepare for TWO legit top 5 WRs, top 10 TE, top 15 RB, and a QB who is leading all QBs in rushing attempts ( he's a threat to run with every dropback).
Now ask yourself, who scares you on the Bear's offense?

they are very physical and a run heavy team that can rpo us to death. Just like what Philly did. We better be ready for a fist fight. This screams trap game right before the bye.

Dak is way better the Cooper Rush. Dak is here to stay. Sucks to be you daily critics.

Isn't amazing that it took them exactly one post to turn a thread about Chicago's rush attack into an anti-Dak thread?

That's a clear sign of an obsessive personality disorder. Of course, when someone reaches that state, their ability to think logically about the topic has been thrown out the window. Hence, the incredible mental gymnastics that they usually spew.

He is? What we saw Sunday was basically the same thing we saw the past 5 weeks. Dak is better than Rush, I will give you that, but he isn't that much better and this past Sunday proved it. Rush could have beaten Detroit and the results would have been exactly the same.

Bears have best rushing attack and worst passing attack in the NFL.
Dallas should play 3 safety lineups and crowd the box.
Bears come off short week and it is advantage Dallas here.

Bears just played their best game of the season by far.
But road game in NE , short week and road game in Dallas is tough even if they were a good team.
Coming in here with the 1973 wing-t offense won't do them any favors IMO.
I think this is another 24-6 type game.

Fine. But never. And I mean never take the ball first if given the choice. It’s maybe the worst or most obviously bad strategic choice a coach can make.
It is when you have an offense that’s on life support like ours.

They can't help themselves and it's why moderators now have to leave disclaimers in game threads where other teams are playing each other. Having to tell posters on this board not to turn it into a Dak thread or a Dak bashing thread. When there are 10 threads Dak threads created on her per week to do that.

Surely DQ knows how to plan and knows what to do against them, right? Pretty easy to see we need to force their QB to have to throw and take away the run game...

A look at rushing yards each game against Dallas in 2022:

week 1 vs. TB: 152 yards
week 2 vs. CINN: 89 yards
week 3 vs. NYG: 167 yards
week 4 vs. Wash: 142 yards
week 5 vs. LAR: 38 yards
week 6 vs. Philly: 136 yards
week 7 vs. DET: 117 yards

That averages out to 120 yards rushing/game against the Dallas defense.

The Chicago Bears offense comes into week #8 as the leading rushing team in the NFL with an average of 181 rushing yards/game (Dallas is 14th with 121 rushing yards/game).

The Bears offense is last in passing yards per game at 126 yards passing/game (Dallas is 27th with 183 yards/game).

The Bears offense is 24th in points scored per game at 18 points/game (Dallas is is 22nd with 19 points/game).

The Bears defense is the 3rd worst against the run giving up an average of 149 rushing yards/game (Dallas is 14th @ 121 yards/game).

The Bears defense is 3rd best against the pass giving up 180 yards/game (Dallas is 4th at 185 yards/game).

The Bears defense is 7th best in points allowed/game with 18.9 (Dallas is 2nd best at 14.9 points/game).

....so while some may look at Chicago as an easy win game, the stats above show that the Bears defense is not a joke and this game easily can go either way depending on what happens in the trenches.

Chicago is a middle of the pack football team with a defensive coach that knows our team. The last time we played a team he coached he shut us out. This will be the running team that the board has been waiting for. Tough game to be sure.

As long as Dak is in Dallas this team will never win a championship. I'm not saying Cooper is the answer but we already know how Dak performs in big games and it ain't good. Dallas needs to start the search for his replacement asap.

You see this is exactly an example of why this board is so infected. This thread began without a mention of the qb but this is what happens regularly
Not enough Dak threads for you?

It honestly sucks.
I used to come here for fan discussion as well as news. Now I pretty much come here exclusively for news and post game tweet threads (since I don’t use social media).

Rarely post anymore. Just not worth the time. Every thread is just oozing with snark and insults.

Like you said, this thread topic is not Dak-centric at all but we can see how quickly a Dak snark comment was made. It gets to a point where it’s just like c’mon, seriously?
Like I don’t want to wade through this BS constantly. Oh well.

Go look at Dak's playoff performances in the divisional round in 2016 against the Packers and in the wildcard round in 2018 against the Seahawks. That's not including so many regular season games throughout his 7 year career. Totally destroys your false narrative.
