Or...maybe it’s just we don’t like THAT guy fans like because of name recognition.Ah look, we won a game on a fluke and now its back to "We like our guys."
Please no......get McGovern on the 'gear' and let him hunt.So we get to watch Connor Williams get steamrolled on roller skates the rest of the year?
He lost in 1972Stiil waiting to see McGovern.
His condition becomes a problem after serious injury and remarkably he hasn't had many issues in that department on that knee. My guess is he is asking for a bit much for a guy that probably would take 3-4 weeks to get readyHis knee is gone
Some aren't going to be old enough to get that. lolHe lost in 1972
You might see Mclovin before you see McGovern.

That is a leap. His knee condition is not something that happens, there is a trigger, lose of blood tp the end of the bone. One can fail a physical for many reasons. Eveyone knows about the knee condition at this point even if it is an issue he has an arthritic knee. He could have been fat and out of shape during his physical. He’s failed two team physicals in the last 9 months (Denver and Cleveland) and I suspect he failed his physical last week here.
This is about his knee
Agreed. At this point in their careers, we have at least 3 OG's who are better then Leary.
Not needed
Yep us old time Cowboys fans are a dying breed. Some aren't going to be old enough to get that. lol
Williams is playing at a very nice level. You see williams play week in week out, Dont know why they wont even try Mcgovern or Biadazz. hoping coaches know more that tells me those two are not even on Williams level ?
He probably wanted too much money.Wonder what happened
Ah look, we won a game on a fluke and now its back to "We like our guys."
He has missed 20 of his last 36 possible games due to injury. He's 31 and has a bum knee. That's why he's available.
It's not like a guy leaves Dallas, time stops, then 4 years later they're exactly the player you remember.
But saying "we like our guys" for the millionth time is easier than actually trying to understand why a team would pass on him.
I say Leary on a bad knee would play better than Connor Williams. I find myself focusing on Connor each replay to see who fouled up the play. Guys, Connor Williams gets thrown around and most importantly, he looks lost out there. Lifting weights and getting bigger in the off season wont cut it if you dont have the heart and cerebral fortitude to play the game.Just speculation, but I wonder if the plan last week was to start Leary at LG and have Williams become the swing tackle, with both Smith and Collins out. But, due to Knight playing well at LT and Steele showing improvement, combined with the hope that Smith and Collins will be returning soon, that move is now considered to be no longer needed.
You say? Well hell, why does the team need a medical staff to determine the health of players they look at when they could higher you?I say Leary on a bad knee would play better than Connor Williams.
