Like dalton? The Texans are better off trading him and starting over.. They suck with him.
Elite QBs consistently get to the playoffs even when their team sucks.

That was going to be my point if he had repliedYes. And Dak has been to the playoffs 50% of the seasons he finished.
He has not just made the playoffs but reached the divisional round 50% of the seasons he has finished
let’s be real. If he doesn’t get hurt this year. He would have made the playoffs 3 out of 5 years.
all of this on a team where about 95% of the posters here would say has had poor coaching and a bad front office.
but yes. Let’s run him out of town.
Call himThen why did Dak stay with France?
Definitely, hope dak steps up more this time around
Did they not want that deal a year ago? Sure they did and yet it did not happen. Nothing has changed. Don't get your expectations up, because the same incompetence that prevented the deal a year ago is still there now. Expect more of the same.[/QUO
did dak switch agents
Nothing is imminent and no new proposals have been swapped but there is growing optimism within the Dallas Cowboys organization that they can finally sign quarterback Dak Prescott to a long-term contract extension.
According to a source, Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones has had recent conversations with Prescott’s agent Todd France and both are of the mindset that they need to get a deal done.

Because even a front office as incompetent as Dallas’ knows you don’t let a young, proven franchise QB go. Period.
Get it done.
Just like there is growing expectation of more average non-Super Bowl years ahead if Dak is re-signed.
Well its on Dak for staying with France then,, I give Dak that credit, he is sticking with his guy,, for better or for worse.
Idk but to me letting his agent know hey this is good enough for me praying no to some things. I had a few buddies who had agents and I know some. Alot of them are REALLY good at manipulating their players into thinking there trying to get the best deal possible for them and painting the perfect picture but in the end wanting nothing more nut to fatten their own pockets. A buddy of mine lost millions because his agent refused numerous contracts all over 1 millionwhat would dak stepping up more look like?
I don’t think they lost the Cooper deal. Actually I think that deal was good for everyone. Same with Martin Smith(not Jaylon) Frederick deals. They actually were doing much better prior to the disaster of folding like cheap suits to Zekes demands. It amazes me. They sign Zeke because at that point we were run first. We then let go of the head coach and bring in a guy who’s pass first after paying the RB to be the bell cow. I am so confused on this teams visionI get the feeling Dallas will sign on Dak’s terms.
Jones’s always stretch out these negotiations only to take a huge L in the end.. It’s what they do.

Don’t complain when we fail to put enough around him then.. You don’t get to celebrate signing Dak to all that money and then complain about defense and everything else..
He’ll be paid to have an elite QB impact..
The Dak Debate = The Prescott Precipice = The Cowboys Conundrum = The Dallas Decision\DilemmaYou’re right. No argument here.
But it’s that sad part of the offseason where we hang on every single media report until something happens. They got me last year too.
If thats true it becomes a buyer beware situation, market is already reducing with teams like Rams, Eagles getting out of those contracts, even eating the dead money to do so.Loyalty matters to some. Heard rumors he convinced all 3 of his big names players to play on tags until he was setup with his new company. Dak, justin Simmons and another all tagged. France has a base reputation of being a jerk of an agent who doesnt budge much
Well, really the reason they are happening isnt the cap in my opinion. Goff just isnt very good and Wentz was hated in the locker room and wanted out.If thats true it becomes a buyer beware situation, market is already reducing with teams like Rams, Eagles getting out of those contracts, even eating the dead money to do so.
Owners are showing their leverage with these moves, the market is shifting for the smart shoppers,, we know the Rams gave up the farm for Stafford, and the Eagles are eating how much dead cap?
Easy to laugh and poke fun at these decisions, but there is a reason why this is happening.
