Mike Zimmer had multiple years of coaching under his belt, while Garrett was gifted a job way over his head after two years of QB coaching a guy like Frerotte, an over a decade plus veteran in the league...

Your analogies are awful..

Your assumption is even worse.

Thrives? They failed to make the playoffs three years in a row against NFC East opponents...

Since when does thrive constitute one season?

2010 they finished 5-3? Garrett was on the hot seat before the 2014 and he pulled a 12-4 season out his ***. Both instances he would've been fired had he not 'thrived' in those situations.

You wouldn't have found many owners of GMs who would have given Garrett the HC job the way Jerry did, while acknowledging he was a HC in training, keep him around this long, or guarantee him a 5 year 25 million dollar contract after 1 season...

You mean like Ozzie Newsome?

In case you didnt notice, we just went 4-12. But maybe you should just trot on over to the main board. Plenty of low standard, pom pom waving cheerleaders you can bleat with about the great Jason Garrett and his wonderful process. And no doubt they will all agree that we are going to the SB next year.

This side is reserved for realistic, educated, die hard fans of the Dallas Cowboys that dont prefer losing.

Valid reason for that 4-12 record. If he has another unsuccessful season, get rid of his ***. All I'm saying is he deserve at least one more year.

I guess in your book and that is fine if you really believe that. Now I believed that Wade deserved another year, but that was after his initial 13-3 season. Its funny because lots of Cowboy fans were calling for Wades head after they lost in the playoffs at home that year. And the next year when Romo missed a few games and they went 9-7. It seems many of those same fans are making up excuses for Garrett now.

In my book Garrett should never have been hired for the OC job and definitely not for the head coach. And he has done nothing to prove me wrong in my opinion. And the fact that this team can barely win a game without Romo underlines my point about Garrett. How does this season not make you realize that last years 12-4 season was about Romo and not about Garrett?

Again, its very clear after Romo missed nearly the entire season and that last season had little to do with Garrett. Im troubled that the light bulbs arent bursting in your brain at this obvious fact.

2010 they finished 5-3 as an interim HC, when the season was over and Jerry went ballistic and players were told they were playing for their job. And the defense produced over 20 plus TOs in 10 games while the offense still sucked, you know Garrett's responsibility.. And wins primarily against scrub teams, or teams that had already clinched playoff births and had nothing to play for. Even their win against the Colts, the defense got 4 TOs and they still took us to OT, because we sucked..

You see Garrett tried the same thing this year, relying on his defense to produce TOs, but guess what... they couldn't even win a game to keep themselves in playoff contention, made Romo rush back to save them, only to have him break his collar-bone again..

Do you know how many interim HCs do well only to such when they have total
control like Garrett?

One year when Garrett was riding off Sparano's 2007 year.. And then the Ravens chose Harbaugh and got a yearly contender and won the SB.

After that, Garrett couldn't even get an offer from the Rams because the fans inundated the FO that he was even being considered.. And he was still an OC..

Garrett will never sniff a HC job after his actual performance as HC..

Newsome won't even give him a plane ticket to interview as OC, let alone HC of the Ravens now...

Man, your reaching pretty deep to defend Garrett, while claiming not to defend him..
