Great news. Thanks for posting.

Personally I don't think Lance will ever be an NFL starting caliber QB. But...We need to find out what we have in him. Maybe he surprises and makes us happy we traded for him and becomes a player or maybe he crashes and burns, but either way, we MUST find out

The date to pick up his 5th year option has passed. That decision had to be made no later than May 1, 2024. Today is May 15, 2024. The Cowboys declined Lance’s 5th year option and they cannot change their mind. So, Lance can agree to a contract right now. He may be amenable to a $2 million per season for one or two years if it’s guaranteed. If he turns out to be able to play even a little proficiently he’ll cost a minimum of $10 million per season.
