Hold out???? That only works when yu know for a fact the team wants you back.... as in Zack Martin last year. But if the Cowboys truly are unsure if they will bring him back, Dak holding out would be against his best interests. He would be fined a tom of money that he would never get back. Did he hold out before he got his last deal?Oh really? Shocking. if I'm Dak, I'd hold out, avoid the embarrassment.
You know Dak has a no trade clause? So who should they trade Dak to that Dak would actually accept the trade?
Neither. I hope he's successful so Dallas doesn't have to pay a premium for Dak or use a high draft pick, and I obviously don't know this because it's my opinion.

Give the kid a shot….draft one high next season if he doesn’t work out. JJ has brainwashed a lot of fans. Just because you wear the star doesn’t make you a star. It’s time to move on from the choker. He’s always choked going way back. I wouldn’t be disappointed if Trey doesn’t pan out. Go all in on a prospect next season. I have no clue what the class looks like next year. This year was pretty good. He may be a bust but I was all in on the Maye kid out of NC this year. He reminded me a lot of Troy in college. Not quite as accurate but he throws a good ball and can make all the throws. Prototypical size. We’ll see. Depending on how the season goes(I won’t watch much if Dak’s under center), I’ll start looking at who’s coming out next year.

Since the Cowboys have formally declined Lance’s 5th year option they can sign him to a contract for 2025 and beyond. If so many fans are aware he’s a phenom I wonder why he isn’t signed. The Cowboys have no quarterbacks signed beyond the 2024 season. Right now it seems the organization literally doesn’t think he’s even better than nothing.
Unquestioned top 10 QB? I mean there is a reason that everyone knows he will reset the market and it’s because there are not exactly a lot of QBs who are recent all pro players in their prime coming up for a contract.
It’s a red flag to me when one is talking about what a QB does well and everything but throwing the ball is mentioned.
I kind of like the idea of making them prove it before signing players to a big deal rather than just picking up a 20mil 5th year option. I don't know if Lance will ever amount to anything, but better to find out without a commitment than paying stupid money and then he sucks. Let's see...
