The Offense kept fighting, mistakes and all. The Defense did not. The Defense didn't even show up. So many times the Packers WRs were wide open with not a single defender withing 15+ yards of them. Plus, their RBs repeatedly running down our throats for 8+ yards or more. The Defense QUIT.
To have kept fighting, doesn't that mean they were fighting in the beginning? You should say they started fighting at almost half, because it got to 27-0. That's not all on the defense because every time Packers scored offense got an opportunity and laid an egg.

I bet 99.7% of games where a team that has a 27 point lead regardless of what quarter or how much time is left, they win. Everyone was in awe when Patriots beat Falcons in the Super Bowl but that was 28-3. The point is it was too late.

The defense quit before the game. I kind of wonder if we overlooked the packers. Like did we think we would just show up in win the game? I find it hard for us to overlook the packers seeing how that is McCarthy ex team.

Ther was one person that was responsible for the team quitting and just watch the first 28 minutes or so and you will see the sorry display, no argument. Team quit, fans were done, coaches done, top WR done, mothers of players done........................................and yet, a few on here still keep on defending, priceless idiocy!

Because you don't know what happened and why. You're like someone who never played the game and clearly does not understand what is happening on the field and why.
...I know Dak stared down his receiver on a third and 5 and threw a bad pass to the other team. I know he threw to a bunch of green shirts on the second INT.

#35. I was barely a Freshman. Played both ways on offense (slot back) and defense (linebacker). Team captain and defensive huddle playcaller. Guaranteed at the age of 15, I would run you over repeatedly, then laugh at you while you choke on your snot and tears. Double guarantee you would walk off the field or quit not wanting to face me as a 15 year old again. I was much worse as I got older. You would not be able to hang with me. Guaranteed.
All that play time and you're still getting owned by a bunch of dudes on here who never played a down.

I'm too upset to type. Check this out.

WTH? Juanyeh Thomas admits the whole Defense and D-Coordinator Dan Quinn QUIT early in the 1st quarter against the Packers during the 2023 Season home playoff loss.

No where does he say they quit or the DC quit. That’s your sad spin interpretation. Show where he said what you say he did. A total lie click bait thread. It’s your opinion and we don’t want to hear about your playing days and how you know. Mods lock it up for dishonesty

The Cowboys are and have been an arrogant team; living off the past Championship teams of the early 90’s.

These recent Dallas teams have a history of coming out flat in the playoffs…as if the stage is too big for them; they play flat, slow and are unprepared. They get punched in the mouth and they lay down and quit…if you have been a Dallas fan for some time the GB debacle isn’t the first time something like that has happened.

Anyone who watched the game could tell the defense quit. It was painfully obvious. We all commented about it after the game. Everytime the defense got punched in the mouth early last season they quit.
This is why I shutter at the idea of making Micah the highest paid defensive player in history. Micah was the king of quitting in that game. He totally mailed it in. He was running all around avoiding contact and avoiding the RB. I am disappointed we haven’t traded him yet. He completely bailed on that game.

This thread reminds me of what Michael Irvin said after the game, “All they ***es” need to go!”. I agree. After that game the only people I wanted to keep was Tyler, Ferguson, Diggs, Bland. Anyone else I felt either played so bad in the most important game or quit. Either way I wanted the team blown up. That includes Lamb, Dak, especially Micah, Tank, the safeties, the LBers, Martin, BDZ, Cooks, Pollard, Tyron. All of them.

I thought it was obvious.......lol
I do think something happened team-wise that week that hasn't come out. I don't know if players partied, didn't practice with a sense of urgency or just thought they could simply walk on the field and win.

All I know is that game is THE worst defeat in franchise history IMO........factoring in what was on the line, how hard it was to gain the advantage they had and they didn't compete.
Been saying that for a while. That's on the coaches to make sure the team is focused.

That's nothing. Some fans have already quit on next year.
Let me know when fans start impacting the outcome of the games.

Until then, this just sounds like shifting the blame off the players and organization that crapped the bed horribly last year.
