We need Dawgs on the team to not allow what we saw in the GB game ever again. I mean, the GB players were laughing whilst they proceeded to beat us down in the wood shed. To not be competitive at all at home, with the stakes so high, nor be prepared, should never happen. That's the hard part. We looked gutless. Reminded me of the teams we had when Jimmy Johnson took over when he was rebuilding the team from scratch basically. I think culture starts with different players and good leadership ON THE SIDELINES. MIKE MCCARTHY LOOKS FAT AND HAPPY ..not like a pissed off coach that's trying to find out who wants to be here.

I thought it was obvious.......lol
I do think something happened team-wise that week that hasn't come out. I don't know if players partied, didn't practice with a sense of urgency or just thought they could simply walk on the field and win.

All I know is that game is THE worst defeat in franchise history IMO........factoring in what was on the line, how hard it was to gain the advantage they had and they didn't compete.
Listened to the hype. All week the media was basically writing off GB and all they had to do was show up game day and it was in the bag. GB came out hit em in the mouth early and they folded!

They thought their stuff didn’t stink and then GB proceeded to knock the stuff out of them and they quit. And then the offense! Absolutely Zero threat to run the ball and combine the 2 and the majority here blame it all on the QB. Just ridiculous and very telling about posters.
That's right, it was a total organizational failure and the suckage should be spread out amongst all of them. There were only a small handful who weren't detrimental to the cause. I hate the over simplification of Dak suck and bla bla bla. It's disingenuous and ignorant at best.

Another Dak Attack bluster video? This one is nine-minutes long? Nope.

At what time does the player actually speak during the video? It is either that or I will go by members' fully quoting him word-for-word. 'Nite, CowboysZone.

Parsons hasn’t showed up in any of our big games. In 4 playoff games he has ONE sack. Our entire defense seems more ready to start the offseason than play in a playoff game. This has been going on for two decades with our defense. The worst defensive games we play during the regular season show up in the playoffs. We saw the same crap against SF and Buffalo that we saw against GB. It’s embarrassing!
I agree. Micah is a frustrating player to have. He racks up impressive numbers against bad teams but playing good teams he disappears. I feel you don’t play a guy top dollar to do that. He was worthless in the playoff game. Completely worthless. I don’t want to sign him to a record deal unless he shows up in prime time. If he doesn’t show up big in big games then trade him for picks.

You can't quit when you don't even start. Just like the playoff loss to the Niners, when those guys came out fired up and dancing, and we came out of our own tunnel looking like we were at a funeral. It was pathetic. You play the whole season for the playoffs, then we get there and the entire team, including coaches look like they are being punished for being there. It's mind-boggling.

He said, "You only have some many plays that you bring to the game. They had counters for every one of them."

That means Quinn got his cookie taken by GB. It is not that they quit but that saw their scheme was outmatched and outcoached. He kept on trotting out 4-2 fronts against 12. It was a raw deal.

I'm too upset to type. Check this out.

WTH? Juanyeh Thomas admits the whole Defense and D-Coordinator Dan Quinn QUIT early in the 1st quarter against the Packers during the 2023 Season home playoff loss.

The Dak Attack..................... :muttley: ................ Sure the defense quit once they viewed the Deer in the Headlights was back baby!!
They gave 110% vs SF all for not.
They learned its pointless when hunting season is open and # 4 is in the woods!

Whats funny is their counter was "run up the middle for 7 yards".

What Juanyeh said is not a matter of opinion.

It's there for anyone to hear. We can listen to him say precisely what he said.

He did not say they quit.

To the contrary, I quote... "Everything GB was doing, they had something for everything we was in."

So, "everything" would necessarily suggest there were multiple things "we was in."

"Packers had an answer for everything we were doin, bro."

Again. "Everything" would necessarily suggest there were multiple things "we were doing."

"So it's like we're going to stick to the plan, (then) we're gonna try to switch it up. Those mfers was still hitting, bro."

Again. "Switch it up" would necessarily suggest that there were changes in strategic decisions made.

And that's just speaking about the DC... who, I agree, likely is the culprit in chief... but disagree, again, that we have Juanyeh affirming that opinion here.

Where are you getting this idea that Juanyeh said anything about the players quitting? That's not even alleged anywhere in anything Juanyeh said in that. Back down, man. These guys get enough flack for things that they should get flack for... they don't need people making stuff up.
So......in a nutshell, LaFleur chewed Quinn up and spit him out. THIS is why I said many times that Quinn was not returning. Jerry was going to either fire him OR let him out of the final year of his deal to take another DC job. Lucky for him the Commanders made him an offer, although he was their third choice. Also, note how MM carefully chose his words about Quinn returning if he didn't get an HC job.

He also said right after the Packers gained a 25-30 yard play early in the game, the Defense gave up while Dan Quinn made absolutely no adjustments.
I believe there were numerous reasons to blame including Dak, but there was one in particular that stood out to me like an elephant in the room.....Dan Quinn! I rewatched that game recently on the NFL channel and I spotted the same elephant that stood out the 1st time:
Dan Quinn made NO adjustments! None! I'm not sure how DQ could say he was even watching the game!
One of the announcers made the remark in the 1st half: "The Cowboys DBs are playing a lot softer coverage than they usually play!" The announcer said that!
And he was exactly right! GB receivers were wide open play after play. The Cowboys normally play more man coverage but against GB they were playing zone. And when they lined up, our backs were playing way off of the receivers. Extremely soft, just like the announcer said. GB was killing us with the pass because their receivers were WIDE OPEN!!
Meantime, Dan Quinn did NOTHING to change that! WHY?

I don't know for sure whether the defense actually quit or not, I do know Dak made his share of mistakes, and I also know if Dan Quinn's head had been in the game where it shoulda been and had made the adjustments that any DC worth his salt would've made in that pass defense, we wouldn't have been shamed the way we were.
Dan Quinn was the biggest rat on that field.
I for one am extremely glad that DQ is gone from the Cowboys.
