I want Jerry to announce that there is no longer a team called the Cowboys he dissolved the team and the stadium is for sale.
I’m not sure he has the authority to dissolve the franchise. The league ultimately owns rights and would place it for sale or move it. And the stadium is partly owned by City of Arlington.

If we beat the giants, it doesn’t “all but lock it up”.. It literally locks it up.
I’d argue it’s literally already locked up.

But officially that would be 3 games up with 3 to go. I’m not sure of all of the tiebreakers at that point.

Uhoh. He wants to be safe and smart like in 2016.

I'd rather use those games to get the team right and go into the postseason with some momentum rather than being spineless and scared about injuries.
Absolutely. How many times do we have to see the team sit starters out the last week of the season and come out flat in the playoffs. Or a Cabo vacation or anything else when the playoffs start.

Keep that winning mindset, it's win or go home. Plenty of time in the offseason to vacation

That's not true. If it's a 3 way tie it starts with conference record. Dallas only lost to Tampa in the conference while Tampa has multiple losses in the conference

First of all I was referring to a 2 team tie. But here’s the rules on 3 teams.
Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).

  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory.
  6. Strength of schedule.
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.
  11. Best net touchdowns in all games.

That's if those teams played each other. Dallas only has played Tampa and Arizona by end of season. They haven't played GB or Rams so you can't do head to head with them if those are in the 3 way tie
