It's nice to know I'm not the only sick puppy in here...

More seriously, I'm anxious to get more word on DeCamillis... that doesn't sound good at all...

Oh, and the Buehler joke would have been funnier if he was the team's punter, but he's not... however, his kickoffs are high enough, from what I've seen on the video clips, that he could have "brought the house down" that way...

From Chuck Carlton at the scene:

Cowboys special teams coach Joe DeCamillis was taken from Cowboys headquarters on a stretcher with a neck brace.

Our reporters Todd Archer, Tim MacMahon and Chuck Carlton are still on the scene and will continue to report on the situation as they can.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones is at the Kentucky Derby. He told NBC's Bob Costas:

"Our rookies, approximately 27 of them, recently drafted free agents as well as our coaching staff as well as our scouting were the principle people in there. A few media. We know of at least one injury. They did not get good warning there and the structure did collapse. And we're assessing who's injured at this particular time."

Yeah, it should have read something like ...

"So ... the Cowboys finally let Buehler kick off."

The weather here in Irving was pretty bad around the time of the collapse. I live just south of 183, and the wind, rain, etc. were pretty bad. I thought one of our trees were going to topple over. I wasn't watching tv at the time, but a friend of mine (also a Cowboys fan) sent me a text about the collapse. I turned on ch. 11, and my jaw dropped.

Metal supports draped with white cloth flapping in the wind everywhere, and you could see Cowboys players running in, and out of the rubble. I saw Dat running around with a few players following him, and camera guys everywhere. There are ambulances all over the place, and they just took one of the Cowboys coaches out on a stretcher. I hope everyone is ok.

It looks like there is another severe storm just southwest of Ft. Worth that is heading northeast towards FW, Irving, etc. I hope they get everyone out before that storm arrives.

Another storm is probably 20 miles away.
All players are accounted for and safe, but they are just reporting some parts have not been searched yet.

Steve Dennis said that both Maxie and DeCamillis were pretty woosy/shaken up and thefan is reporting that none of the injuries are thought to be life threatening.

Also, they showed video from inside the bubble just before it collapsed, and it was intense. You could see the overhead lights swaying back and forth. Down on the field, players, coaches, everyone, was watching the lights, and the roof shake. They did not show the actual collapse, but I'm sure they caught it on video.
