This is really tripping me out. I was just playing football inside that practice bubble in late February. Wow, I hope everyone is ok.

Just a few minutes ago, the practice field and facility was hit by a tornado. The indoor facility looks to be colapsed. Special Teams coach Decamillas taken to hospital with neck brace.

DMN Update on Coach Decamillis:

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said that DeCamillis sustained a neck inury, was stabilized and taken to an area by ambulance.

"He was moving his hands and he was talking," Phillips said before leaving for the hospital.

Phillips said a couple of players suffered minor injuries.

I cannot believe how lucky we are. There could have been very serious, even life threatening injuries from this very easily.

OK, this is gonna be in really poor taste, so first let me say that I sincerely hope that all injuries turn out to be minor ones...

But when I first heard the news, my sick mind led me to visualize a rookie, walking up to Wade who's surveying the wreckage, and asking "coach, does this mean the afternoon practice is cancelled??"

they think they will for ota's rent out some high school indoor facility in the area, michey said the school, but i forgot the name

I honestly don't remember. It was such a huge priveledge to get to play there, I was concentrating on performing well and not getting too caught up in where I was. Also, the Cowboys staff was being very strict about how many people could be in the building at once. Basically, you got to come in, play your game and then immedeatly get out. No spectators were allowed, its the only tournament we've ever played in that we don't have video of.

However, I do remember the entire structure being huge, but it seemed very unstable. What little I did pay attention to had me thinking that it wouldn't take a lot to bring that thing down.

Miracle if nobody was seriously hurt. Fairly heavy steel roof supports littered everywhere, falling what, 60-70 feet?
