I didn't see this posted so here it is.

I didn't see a link to it but it was on the Wii sports news. Said it happened about an hour ago.

Don't know if this is old news or not but first I heard of it.

Here's the story from ESPN...

IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys special teams coach Joe DeCamillis was among at least five people injured Saturday when the roof of the team's practice facility collapsed during a storm.

Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple said four team support staff members were injured and all players and coaches were accounted for. He didn't know the extent of the injuries of the four, who he said were hospitalized.

DeCamillis was seen putting on a neck brace and being taken out of the team's main office building on a stretcher.

The roof came down during a severe thunderstorm while the team was going through the second day of a three-day rookie minicamp. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, in a TV interview from the Kentucky Derby, said 27 rookies were going through the workout.

Witnesses said lights started flickering and shaking minutes before the collapse, prompting players, coaches, staff members and reporters to vacate the building. Several people were trying to exit the facility as the roof came down.

The storm was producing winds measured at 64 mph just before it struck the Cowboys facility, said National Weather Service meteorologist Joe Harris in Fort Worth.

Dalrymple said rescue personnel were still going through the debris to make sure everyone was accounted for.

The roof is a large air-supported canopy with aluminum frames covering a regulation 100-yard football field.

Power was out at the Valley Ranch facility.

the guy on the left with his head up is assistant strength and conditioning coach Tony Ollison

Judging by the legs I'd have to say an asst coach or staff member. I hope the person is ok.

Rookie LB Stephen Hodge talks about it ...

Q: Stephen, how would you describe what happened today?

It was chaotic. There's no other word to describe it. It was very scary. Everybody started running to safety and then people started tripping over each other. The building started collapsing and people on the sidelines tried to get out, but others started falling on top of them along with the debris. People were ducking. After we got a grasp of what was going on, we turned around and started helping each other to pull one another out of the rumble.

Q: Right before the incident, what happened?

A: It was a normal practice, it was loud outside, but it seemed like a typical thunderstorm. We weren't paying attention to the it (the storm) until one of the sides, made a loud sound and then almost started falling down. It like ripped. It made a loud ripping sound and then just boom and we all started running.

Wow scary stuff - Wish the best to the seriously ill individual and am glad to see injuries appear to be much less than it could have been viewing that footage.

Hopefully, everyone is okay.

The video of the roof is collapsing is insane. However, am I alone in my first thought?

Put the damn camera down and HELP!!

There are injured people there, at that point no one knew how bad it could be. Quit thinking about your career, put down the camera and help those who may be seriously injured and trapped.

Sorry, this may be a cynical view but when lives are at stake I think insuring everyones safety is paramount over capturing stuff on camera for WFAA.

WOW! We truly are blessed that there are no fatalities or very serious injuries from this... just mind blowing... this could have been MUCH worse!

What a hell of a way for these rookies to come together as a "team"!

Now, this is the kind of thing that will bond these guys together, for life, whether they make the team or not.

:star: Thank God nobody was killed!

I have to admit that I was thinking the same thing... first thing I thought to myself after the camera guy escaped was, why isn't he going back in there to try and help people? :bang2:

It irritated me that after he got to safety, he and another camera man was taping everything. All the while, Cowboy players were lifting up tarps and supports to look for the injured.....and they just taped. Sad commentary on our society in my opinion.
