Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said special teams coach Joe DeCamillis suffered a neck injury and was taken to an area hospital by ambulance.

"He was moving his hands, and he was talking," Phillips said before leaving for the hospital.

Phillips said a couple of players suffered minor injuries.

I really hope Coach Joe DeCamillis is o.k. It's a very good thing that he was at least moving his hands and he was talking. Hopefully, it was mostly precautionary with the neck brace.

Also, luckily for the players, none of the injuries were major injuries.

Listen. There were 10 guys standing there helping people and everyone communicating with them. They did their job. They are versed in this kind of thing and I am almost certain their role is to keep filming and they did.

This is so nuts, I've been out of the loop until now this is just so bizzar. Hopefully we get more team unity and bonding out of an experience such as this.

Don't think that's gonna make much difference one way or another.

It's mostly rookies and first year vets.

About 60 people in the facility when it collapsed. Thankfully no life threating injuries.

I honestly don't remember. It was such a huge priveledge to get to play there, I was concentrating on performing well and not getting too caught up in where I was. Also, the Cowboys staff was being very strict about how many people could be in the building at once. Basically, you got to come in, play your game and then immedeatly get out. No spectators were allowed, its the only tournament we've ever played in that we don't have video of.

However, I do remember the entire structure being huge, but it seemed very unstable. What little I did pay attention to had me thinking that it wouldn't take a lot to bring that thing down.

couchscout, how come you got to play there? were you a colllege football player or pro?

Mickey also said he thinks he got hit by something...maybe in the ribs. Said he was beginning to feel some pain.

What a hell of a way for these rookies to come together as a "team"!

Now, this is the kind of thing that will bond these guys together, for life, whether they make the team or not.

exactly, this is the type of thing that will bring the team together, as well as the coaching staff

we all know that some people were saying jason garrett was out to get wades job etc, now this has happened, it will bring them closer together as a team, and that will spill onto the other players i believe

always remember what generally happens in a trajedy or bad situation, God can turn it around for good, this just maybe the part that leveled feelings among coaches if there was any, and now will bring them together for the good of the team as a unified team.

I give God the glory that no one was seriously injured and that he looked out for the players and coaches as well as things could, like mickey spagnola said earlier, this was a miracle, could have been much mush worse, reports are one person has a back injury and punctured lung, but hopefully the doctors have that under control now; and that the person will recover ok

The clip I saw on Channel 4 (NBC) said there was 60mph winds around Valley Ranch but not a tornado. Only 1 serious injury (A Trainer) but no names.

Also Todd Archer was pinned/knocked down and injured along with some other reporters.

yeah 2 of the rookies got todd archer out, someone posted about that

I was glad to hear that no one was killed and that everyone should be ok. Very scary situation, without a doubt, and the video they showed on NFL Network was pretty scary.
