Cowboys re-sign Danny McCray

Dude is trash. Is he really THAT good on special teams? lol. Where is his pro bowl berth? Where are the forced fumbles? Touchdown saving tackle? Someone help me out.

Don't get your hopes up for an answer on this one.

Your post has been seen, but it will be ignored because it's accurate and irrefutable and the "Justification League" won't be able to deal with it.

Answer my initial question! Who would you replace him with and don't just give the idiotic "anybody".

I answer it with a dumb response, because I know you can't give me an answer yourself to my question.

Since in your opinion there is no other option, justify why you think he should be given over 1 mil?? All I said was he sucks.

You came at me, asking me who else is there. Well for you to ask that question, you should know why he was given what he was given. I didn't ask anything at first. Just said what I said. So answer...

Let's go

Why, does the truth hurt?

We can even say for the sake of argument that they have enough money.

Then their thinking is that McCray is worth $1.3 million to make special teams tackles while Winston is not worth $3 million a year to start at right tackle and give up just 3 sacks?

Can you see some flawed logic happening here?

I do. Yours. You do know that the pre season is not over yet, right? If you thing Winston is the be all save all, well, we just don't know. But, the roster is not set as of yet, so stop with all the hand wringing over a special team player.

Go play circular games with someone else. Maybe stasharoo?

Wow I think I'm going to be sick . 1.3 million for this arena player . What a joke of a office

No, because the staff is around McCray every day and know what they are getting out of him. They obviously like having the guy around if he is a captain and the re-signed him. McCray has NOTHING, absolutely nothing to do with Winston.

How come nobody else wants to give Winston $3 million? We have Parnell who is younger and looking to improve, or we could sign Clabo, or we could draft a tackle. There are other options available. I don't see any reason to force the issue this early in the offseason.

Yeah thought so...

Anybody with a Star huh? :lmao: Hey, we should go re-sign Lance Frazier and Pete Hunter at over 1 mil each, and drop Claiborne and Carr.

I mean, you will love it right? They will have a star after all.....and who could we get that is better???

That is the question that I asked you in the first place! Are you drunk, high, or just being obtuse?

I do know that - despite what some of you would like to believe - players don't pine away by their phones waiting for the Dallas Cowboys to call.

And compared to the disgrace that is Doug Free and his embarrasingly bad contract, Winston is the 'be all, save all'.

Anybody that can't or won't see that has some serious blue blinders on.

When you can pay special teams tacklers $1.3 million but can't pay quality starters $3 million, you have some serious issues with player evaluations.

What truth?

The truth that this team can get anybody, repeat anybody to completely suck at safety, for a fraction of $1.3 million.

And Eric Frampton is a better candidate for that roster spot for starters.

For about half a million less in money.

Fair enough.

I do.

While this team sits on their hands thinking that everyone else will wait for them, other teams are still doing business.

Signing Winston or Clabo to a deal in no way prevents you from drafting someone next week.

But there's no guarantee either will be available after the draft. None.

With this team's pathetic track record with the offensive line, they should be putting every possible resource into fixing their biggest failure and weakness.

But, we don't know what Free's status is as of right now. I think if he is cut he could free up some money to sign someone like Winston, or maybe Winston himself.

But, the organization has to look at every aspect of the team...offense, defense and special teams.

Just because they signed a player to 1.3 mil does not negate the fact that they cannot upgrade the oline.

I don't know? You don't either.

The draft is coming up, so maybe they can snag a good young player there?

The off season is just getting under way, none of us know what is going to happen with the oline.

He's an outstanding ST player.

The only Epic Fail is your analysis

this. He is as a good a ST player as we have had in ten years.

And a COMPLETE liability in every other capacity

A one trick pony that can't be counted on for anything else.

You can get any UDFA to fill that role for pennies.

like we did in our special teams draft of 2009??? no you cant get anybody....
