OK, I just got off the phone with my attorneys and they just informed me that Beavis and Butthead Avatars are allowed to chastise on the Internet but South Park Avatars are not. I'll stop as soon as I get the Fedex of legal documents to sign.
Too funny, he was cut for one day in a roster move and you have absolutely no clue what the league interest in him would be if he was actually available. Those aren't facts, they are just wishful thinking on your part to justify a preset opinion. And its an opinion that the coaches who were right about Dak Prescott disagree with.
I don't care.Linehan knows the offense better than anyone. Do you want him to be our QB#2?
Knowing the offense doesn't necessarily mean you can run the offense. Moore may know where to throw the ball but he can't make the throw due to his physical limitations.
Same goes for Rush. The idea that Moore could help us in a starting qb role is laughable. If we have to rely on him the season is over. We've seen that movie before.
I respect it and disagree with it. But kudos for your civility.
I understand. I mean, Cowboy Fans should understand the Pro's and Con's of both approaches better then any other Fan Base in the NFL. It's interesting because we've enjoyed success with both really.
Tom Landry believed in QBs sitting and learning. He had Roger Staubach on the bench for bejesus sakes. LOL.....
We had Jimmy who believed in throwing them out there and letting them sink or swim. He did it with Troy and won back to back championships.
We've had Tony who waited his time and learned under Parcells. He turned out great. We saw Dak step in last year and tear the league up, on his way to ROY.
We are truly a spoiled bunch Stash. LOL.........
We truly are. We've had some downs like Quincy and Tony Banks and that run, but they're few and far between compared to the rest of the league.
Spoiled like you said.
And now, we could be again, not only with our starter, but in finding a quality backup too.
It's funny you say this. I was at my Brother's house on Sunday and we were rewatching the Oakland Pre Season game. He said to me, "Who ever the Cowboys have evaluating these QBs, they better be paying him stupid good. He's finding guys in the 4th round or not even drafted and they are turning into players!"
It's looking that way. Scouts, coaches, whoever. They're getting something right lately. And just two years prior they had zero answers outside of Romo. Wasting time on Weeden, Cassel, and Dustin Vaughn.
What a difference!
I don't care.
Who's the backup in Green Bay? Seattle? New York? Philly? Atlanta?
Yup, no offensive talent to play with. This team would go 2-14 this season with Cooper Rush.

No kidding. Between Romo and Dak (and who knows, maybe now Rush) we've spent less and gotten more out of three QB position than any team I can remember. At least since the Rams pulled in Warner and Green. Though I think even Green cost them in FA when they brought him in.
And to think we had long debates about the team's ability to develop QBs at all just last season. Silly, in retrospect, given what we did with Tony Romo and the fact that we had three former QBs on staff.
Their success in this area alone is the main reason I'm happy to give them whatever leeway they want in terms of roster positions to develop Cooper Rush.
That's exactly right.
All this hatred of the Moore signing... I think it's way overboard.
If the Cowboys think he can add value... I'm good with it based on a number of reasons that you touched upon.
