Just win a game please. Watching the offense has become a painful experience I haven't had to endure since before Parcells.

This. Everyone wants their little hero's in the game. "Pull him, start him, cut him, play him, why are we looking at him?". I don't care if Jerry plays starting RB and his wife Jean is the starting QB, while Rowdy coaches buuuuut just stop the bleeding and win a frikin game!!

When Garrett says Michael "is worthy of carrying the ball a little bit more," I'm kinda wondering if maybe he means he'll be getting a whole two carries instead of one. -- lol.

Randle excels in the 3rd down change of pace "scat" role. Now that he is going back to that role, he will do very well AND CMike will excel as the lead dog. This will rejuvenate the Oline right there alongside the other factors feeding into Oline improvement (bye week, getting healthy, La'el change).

I see a carry distribution of 50% Cmike, 30% Randle, 20% other. A recipe for success.

That's not right at all. Randle was not a "third-down" back last season, and he certainly didn't excel in that role. He was Murray's relief back instead. He entered the game every third or fourth series, and were in the same type plays as Murray did. His approach to those plays is different, to be sure, but they work the third down variety calls. That was Dundar's role. He was more of a "change of pace" back.

Also curious… Where do you see anything, or where have you heard anything, that says anything about Randle "going back" to his previous role? All I've seen says that Michael may be getting more opportunities. I don't know how anybody gets "starting" out of that.

If the OL play doesn't improve, you are absolutely correct. People have been defending the OL and placing the majority of the blame on Randle. Those same people will go right on to the OL hasn't been good train to keep the Michael dream alive. People are using their preconceived notions of Randle and not their eyes. I would probably put it at 30-40% on bad blocking, 20-30% playcalling and 30-50% on Randle. Anyone who can't admit there's more going on than Randle just sucks I just can't take seriously.

I have a feeling that the OL won't improve until we have Romo and Dez on the field together.

We'll find out soon. I see no reason to anoint Michael and he's done nothing to seperate himself from Randle. I'd love for either or both of them to find some running room this week, but I don't think there is an NFL quality starting running back on this team.

I expect Collins' impact to be far more significant than Michael or even Cassel.

Whats so good about Randle? I don't understand the love for someone who isn't even an RKG and has done absolutely nothing to win us games despite giving every opportunity to do so on a silver platter. I'm excited to finally see what CMike can do. Its time to sit Randle done for good and let someone else run with the ball.

As fans, we'll all have enough youngsters entering into the lineups to keep us all salivating profusely. I just hope they manage to do enough good things to overcome the mistakes that might be included as well. I'm just glad that they're available to be totally honest. At least, if they make rookie mistakes, they'll also be getting the experience needed to get better in the longrun. If we can't benefit in the here and now, we'll at least be fortunate enough to see them blossom in the future. Granted, that may not be ideal but it'll undoubtedly pay off in the longrun.

Hopefully C-Mike actually gets a decent amount of carries going forward. Along with some of the other changes...gotta see if he can also provide a little spark.
