it's fluff.
that isn't even medical news, I get why some posters run with this though.
"Great opportunity' for full nerve regeneration"
No kidding. Barnett on top of Jaylon healing and Werder being fired is enough for dopamine overload.I can't take this much good news.
If somehow Derek Barnett falls to us at 28 tonight, I may explode.
no timeline available, but you can see that the recovery is accelerating - which is 'typical'.
there is still no guarantee he will be 100% healed and not need the brace.
however, all the stuff coming out now seems to point to a very good recovery (knock on wood).
what probably happened is that the FO was holding back on a lot of news over the last few months - refusing to tell us when the initial 'firing' happened.
now that they think the recovery is going well, the news comes out in a deluge.
after this huge around of news, dont be disappointed if jaylon is still wearing a brace in 2 months.
this stuff takes time.
also this may be predraft damage control if we do not get the passrusher we want.
I ride this train
I can see Fuzzy deriding Stephen and the Doctors about their lack of knowledge on the subject.Maybe they just got hold of one of Fuzzy's posts on the topic.

At a 100% the brace would possibly be a detriment. If he gets too 100 % anyway I'd rather he keep the brace on. If he's running a 4.4-4.5 with the brace on ..Just keep it on For the year
It's double-reverse psychology, state that everything is alright and other teams should not fear you're taking a linebacker, then they will think you're lying and fear you're taking a linebacker, but it reality everything is indeed alright and you're not planning on taking a linebacker.
Then of course there is the double-double reverse psychology,,,
What's unfair is we've waited 22 years for another Super Bowl opportunity. Thanks, Uncle Jerry.clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
football is a game of emotion; especially on defense and this kid is going to be quite the leader and inspiration if he can play anywhere near his collegiate level.
a healthy jaylon smith and sean lee together is just unfair.
Consider things thrown at you...The damn shame of it all is Jaylon is going to thrive, whipping folks all through OTAs and TC, then get hurt with a non-related injury in Week 1. Torn pectoral or some such business. (now is the time when you throw things at me)
Throwing things at you, too...Actually a better chance that Lee gets hurt in the first few games and we are down to one impact LB again....
Now throwing everything I can get hold of at you......or Jaylon and Sean run into each other and take each other out. That's happened before.
Jerry's got you in your own prison son, you can leave anytime there are no bars no door just walk away you are freeWhat's unfair is we've waited 22 years for another Super Bowl opportunity. Thanks, Uncle Jerry.
