The only signing that hurt the team's performance due to the failure was Paea's and I think it was a good gamble that blew up.
The only signing that hurt financially was Carrol's. That was not a good signing that Lewis made look even worse.
The Moore signing? A scrap-heap player on a low contract. Not hardly a big deal.
Blanton was the same thing. Meh.
Only one guy they gave a decent contract too and that was Carrol and even his contract 4 years for $10 mil wasn't big for a corner.
Doubt the Cowboys change how they do things, i.e. use free agency to fill holes and which allows them a little more flexibility when it comes to the draft.
Carroll got $4 million for one game. That's a huge failure and miscalculation. Can't sugarcoat that. And as a result of that Miss, they will likely owe the Bengals a 6th round draft pick for Benwikere who they keep off the field at all costs.
Don't need forget Cedric Thornton. He's costing this team $6 million in dead money to play for $775,000 in Buffalo. And even his "replacement" isn't here anymore.
