Someone could poach him off the practice squad. With Ronald Jones having an injury and suspended the first two games of the regular season, I say Vaughn makes the 53.

Then let em. Who cares.

Have you even looked at the RB depth on other teams? NO ONE will pick up Duece *** Vaughn.

They currently have him listed as our punt returner. There’s other ways he can be used besides RB. He’s small but has the ability to be a playmaker. The Cowboys will find a role for him.

Hes listed as a backup. Something he has never done. They will not let him return punts during the regular season.

Remember, these are open practices. Once they get back to Dallas, things will settle out.

I suspect a guy like Cropper getting looks. Not sure why he isnt. Hes done it and has much better speed. Durden has done it.

Not sure about Tolbert.

But Duece isnt making this roster as a backup punt returner and personal punt protector.

We'll see what this looks like after 3 preseason games and cuts. It really doesn't mean much today.

Preseason will determine whether he makes the team or not. Same for several players.

The Cowboys have used a couple of punt returners, one being a situational punt returner. Vaughn will definitely not be a personal punt protector. I feel they’ll find a role for him on the 53. We’ll see.

Agreed would have thought it would have been Matt or Josh. But also have to consider some of these positions they use 2 or 3 different backups for similar position. I still think Tyler would be the first to swing out. Look forward to how that battle plays out for swing tackle.

Sorry but deuce is just that a little deuce. It was only ever a feel good story. The guy is literally 5’4.
