100% guaranteed Deuce makes the team.
I wouldn’t 100% guarantee it but I think he will. I think Jerry will see to it, that they find some type of role for him for at least this season. If he doesn’t make the team there’s going to be a lot of fans who’ve been drooling over him eating a lot of crow.

Uh, oh, someone got triggered again.
Says the guy who got all serious at an obvious joke on a sports message board.

No one gets more triggered around here than you. And when it really gets bad, you disappear for like months and then pop back, to repeat your silliness all over again. It's actually kind of comical at this point.

Seems to contradict some of the perceptions based on reports from media and sports blogs.

Vaughn on the outside looking in.

Luepke an afterthought.

Fehoko over two of the Jalens.

Parsons still listed as a starting linebacker.

Gallimore in front of Bohanna and Golston

Can’t say I’m shocked. Dowdle has always shown ability. The problem is he spends more time with Britt Brown than anyone else on the team.

If he can actually stay healthy I think he does have the skill to do the #2 back.

Big IF though.
Looks to me like it's more of a seniority thing. Dowdle has been here the longest, followed by Davis. Jones is new but is a vet so he's ahead of Vaughn and Luepke. That seems to hold true at most positions right now.

I think you nailed it. I think putting almost all the rookies deep on the depth chart is a way to let them know they are fighting for their lives.

Funny thing about Ronald Jones...despite his issues, there have been several reports that he has looked pretty good.

Has anyone heard anything about Farniok or Waletzko? They are both being counted on as depth but it has been pretty silent on that front.

I do think it doesn't bode well for Farniok that he's not the second-team center. He should have the seniority there but Hoffman is ahead of him. I think Waletzko has primarily been playing right tackle right now with Edoga being the backup left tackle. I hope it doesn't end up that way because I don't think Edoga is that good of a left tackle.

This team has some depth with the exception of the offensive and defensive lines. They have to hope they don't have any serious injuries at those positions.

They have some good depth everywhere else. Maybe QB is a bit weak behind Dak, but that is not an uncommon problem for teams in the NFL.

They have no depth at kicker, and I am not even sure the kicker they have is good enough for this team.

When has Dowdle ever shown anything?

He’ll make the team. They made far too big a deal drafting him for him not to make the team. Jerry will see to it. However, this has to be a blow to the fans who thought he was going to be a big part of our running game. One fan is predicting Vaughn will overtake Pollard by the end of the season. Lol
I dont think anyone thought he would be a big part of the running game.

And how about waiting till after preseason before we start making calls on who the #2 back is going to be. These guys havent even played in a real game yet. THAT is always where these backups make it or break it. All these backups are going to get lots of time in PS. The cream will definitely rise to the top one way or another.
