Cowboys release TO *Merged*

what people never give him credit for is things other then catching the ball. he took 2 and sometimes 3 people with him on every play. and is probably the best blocking wr in football.
I explained this earlier and will again. This theory that he took 2 or 3 people with him only works when you are a threat on the field. He wasn't because he ran poor routes and let the Db's jam him at the line. That's the reason why Williams and other receivers couldn't get open because they weren't worried about T.O. getting off the line.

Also Garrett tried to force the ball to T.O. because of the constant whining and crying this guy does all the time to the media. All those stupid plays out of the backfield and reverses and silly stuff like that. Those plays frustrated me. Garrett can now focus on running the football and spreading the ball around in the passing game and not trying to make T.O. happy every week.

He's cut, what difference does it make what I say now? I'm simply saying he did a lot while he was here to help the team, I'll let the media show the highlight reel of the distractions he brought, keep watching ESPN and reading the blogs, you'll get your fill of T.O. hate as well.

If Roy Williams gets cut tomorrow, despite how much he was ragged on, I'd still appreciate what he brought here.

i don't hate the man at all. everything i've heard about him personally is positive.

but as a "team player" he's TO first. i hate that about him. i hate what that brings to the team and i'm glad it's gone.

God Bless T.O, I wish him the best...

I think Jerry will regret this move.

Randy Moss Part 2

nobody else was stupid enough to pay his salary just to screw up their team.

That's true. I guess we tried but couldn't get **** for this dude. Some team is gonna get him a cheap now. Well, maybe not THAT cheap. Al Davis is on the phone with Drew Rosenhouse now.

This is stupid. If we were to do this, we should have been ready to lock up TJ Housh...he has always wanted to be a Cowboy. Argh!

:lmao2: @ the two extremes.

It's not the end of the world, but the offesnse got a lot less explosive.

We need a legit #1 now.

Roy Williams is not going to fill that void, but we all know Jerry is a gambling man and he's sure betting on it.

I bet we are going to run the ball alot more this year. I guarantee you we are going to be known as a running team.

Sorry 5countem5 and Bleu :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

I'd have liked to see one season of T.O. and Roy on offense.

There's no market for T.O.

That's what I figure. If there was a market jerry would have traded him instead of cut him. People consider him a locker room cancer. He brings with him a media circus. Coaches like Parcells would rather retire than coach with him on the team. I'm sure he will sign with someone though....

Are there any Free Agent WR options out there? Where do we go from here...

Randy Moss Part 2
Yeah but that Randy Moss was a young early 20s Randy Moss. Not a mid 30s Terrell Owens.

so everybody should take ur word on this, and ignore countless reviews on how teams cover owens on countless sports shows? right.

get a clue

I don't get it either, he's still worth at least a draft pick to someone.

remember all the teams lined up for him the last time he was available ?
oh yeah...it was just us and Denver......i think no one wants him...if they do it wont be for a draft pick and 9mill a year..it will be a incentive laced contract for pennies

I don't have time to read the whole thread, so has there been any confirmation of this other than "ESPN sources say?" No official statement from the team or anything?

Any chance this is a falsehood used to weed out some moles in the orginization?
