based on how it looks right now, does this matchup look favorable to you guys,or do you feel the skins have a advantage here..example (moss and lloyd split wide, randle el in the slot)can your secondary defend this as we stand to date?:)

Looks pretty even. Newman vs Moss. Henry vs Llyod. Glenn vs Randle El.

As long as we get a more consistent pass rush, I'm not worried.

Considering how Santana Moss fared against us last year all by his lonesome, I'd feel much better if we had a FS back there with decent cover skills.

[assuming they have a legitimate QB playing] we're gonna get burned deep again, unless we get a real FS and keep Roy at the LOS (and out of coverage). the matchups favor Wash.

That was with Glenn on him. Hopefully this year Newman follows him around.

I can answer that one for you.

Moss won't get lucky again this year, heck his performance faded at the end of last season.

Lloyd is over-rated. He drops a lot of catchable balls and is afraid to go over the middle.

Randle El is a #7 receiver at best. He is over-rated and too small.

So, how'd I do?

I think that Newman, Henry and Glenn can handle those guys okay. I'm sure they'll make their catches... but those 3 CB's are good enough to make it really hard to have a good day against them.

As long as their healthy, it should be a very good matchup.

Maybe this question is better suited for a Commander forum, considering most people in this forum hate the Commanders.

i think also if moss gets a step on any of your cb its 6..and lloyd will be tough for henry to defend, assuming moss will be covered by newman and glenn fronts randle in the slot..my point is when you have 3 guys who is more than capable of beating 1 on 1 coverage, thats tough for any team to defend...EDGE:Commanders

After last years flukes, in 2006, I think we'll get back to the all day country butt wooping's the skins are used to.

I really don't see how any of those corners can cover Santana Moss one-on-one without serious help from the FS.
