I just did a quick scan of the roster and looked up some significant contributors to the Cowboys. Again i did this real quick so please add to this list

Bailey= Undrafted
Beasley= Undrafted
Carr= 5th
Collins= Undrafted
Church= Undrafted
Free= 4th
Irving= Undrafted
Leary= Undrafted
Romo= Undrafted
OScan= 5th
Witten= 3rd

I'm sure there's more because I put almost no effort into that list. Rounds 3-7 are where the majority of the NFL players come from.

From what I've seen, players drafted after the 65th pick rarely turn out to be anything significant.

We haven't done very well with finding 3rd round gems lately. This one better stick.

If fans are patient we could have a couple pieces toward a goof dline . Dline players develope slow so I don't expect big numbers and I also expect fans calling plays busts before the end of training camp, but tapper, Collins,Tcraw, Dlaw all are nice pieces of the puzzle

Hope that is the case, as most pundits had him on the 2nd tier of a deep DT group. If turns out to be like Atkins, who went to the right team and system, it is an excellent move. If Marinelli got his fit right it would really help. It is a little stretch when you watch him at Nebraska, looked a little misused as was Tapper.

His ceiling is about as as it gets, fat guys just don't have the speed he has in the first few steps. Having said that, he is raw and needs a good amount of work. Give him a couple years in the system, and he might very well be a piece to build around.

Collins was very productive in 2014, but dropped off the following year with the change in defense. The Cowboys seem to feel very strongly about the player.
