"Oh Kiper stop, this guy would've been the best on the board 30 picks ago, 40 picks ago. He is the best pure cover corner in this draft and one of the best nickel corners I've ever seen " - Mcshay

I'm starting to like this draft more and more! Give me Xavier Woods and you can have the remaining picks!
Add to that Donnell Pumphrey and I would be blown away by this draft. I really think the Cowboys made the best of a poor draft spot so far. I'm reading really intriguing things about all three.

lewis highlights (yes i know they are highlights) but compared to our 1st and 2nd round picks, lewis highlights and actual production is the best. Kept hearing he is the best player on the defense. Top 5 corner. 32 overall (earlier in the year). Hopefully he gets his head on straight. He could be a baller. Just like that fellas our defense gets a little better. Still would love to find a dominate return guy that can also play wr (quick, fast and can catch).

Just read up on the charges and it all looks pretty weak. He said she said type of stuff and doesn't seem to be much evidence to back the charges. At least not from the initial reporting. Plus it sound like a bit of a fabrication on her part to not "know" how she supposedly ended up on the ground. Like in most cases you can over lap the stories and one will sound more realistic. Which his sounds more plausible.

Hey were them folks that said Dallas would get antsy and trade up to beat the DB run?

Just being honest, that's the beauty of an open online forum. Hard for me to get pumped over a guy with potential domestic violence issues and who is only 5'8 and will most likely be covering Brandon Marshall and Engram who have about 60-70 lbs and 7 inches on him.

Sometimes you have to take players that are more relevant beating the teams in your division. The Giants did it by filling in Hankins spot and adding receivers due to our young secondary. Phily and Warshington are doing the same. I just think he won't be a big difference maker in the NFCE and has other baggage to go along with him.
Giants might have all these tall WRs and TEs but it might be hard for Manning to get them the ball when he is on his back, looking at the sky.

There is a difference between. Horrible, Mediocre, Average, Above Average, Pro bowler, All Pro. When it comes the physical traits neither guys are elite(Allpro) They are in the range of above average to Pro bowler. That doesn't mean they can't succeed but these guys aren't athletic freaks.

Oh, ok. I can agree with that. Maybe not freaks but athletic.

I'm willing to bet any "undercover NYG fans" you conspiracy theorists think exist would be laughing in your face. They got a DT to replace Hankins, which that line held Zeke to under 100 yards twice and we just drafted a midget/jockey compared to the "tight end" they drafted and Brandon Marshall. It's a horrible mismatch which is why I'm po'd about it. Penalty flags galore or Eli can just throw it literally 16 inches over Lewis' head and he won't have a chance at it.

107 game 2.

He stunk it up game 1 but it was his first game after missing most of camp.

He will put up 120 easily assuming Dak performs better against them.

Giants have a horrible OL. That will bite them...it hurt their offense last season and it's no better.

not so subtle undercover Vagiants fan post
Please enlighten me where I'm wrong or would you like to mark this post and come back to it after he gets smoked against Marshall and their new "tight end"? Please, I honestly want to hear how you expect a 5'8, 188 lb back to consistently cover a 6'3 240-250 lb receiver without holding which is what every article I've read say is one of his biggest weaknesses.

Where are you getting 5'8" from?

This gives us five corners (Scandrick, Brown, Carroll, Awuzie and Lewis). If we are trying to move Scandrick, we need one more, plus we need at least one more safety (Jones, Heath, Frazier). So I won't be surprised if the rest of our picks are DBs.

Agreed. Considering where we're picking, I think they're killing it.

Corners are usually always shorter than wide receivers. You're putting way too much on height.

I hope you're right about his yardage and yes, thankfully this was a horrendous draft for the O line so I expect our D line to look like the 85 Bears against that putrid Giants line.
