Just being honest, that's the beauty of an open online forum. Hard for me to get pumped over a guy with potential domestic violence issues and who is only 5'8 and will most likely be covering Brandon Marshall and Engram who have about 60-70 lbs and 7 inches on him.

Sometimes you have to take players that are more relevant beating the teams in your division. The Giants did it by filling in Hankins spot and adding receivers due to our young secondary. Phily and Warshington are doing the same. I just think he won't be a big difference maker in the NFCE and has other baggage to go along with him.
Cause Engram and Marshall are the Giants only receiving threats?

Where are you getting 5'8" from?
My bad, 5'10. Still, that's ~6 inch difference and 60 lbs. No doubt he'll be great at covering the smaller guys but we need someone to match up with the bigger, taller receivers. I also hate that he is known for getting penalties. PI is my biggest pet peeve, I actually think it should be reviewable, it literally causes teams ro win or lose whether the call is right or wrong.

Hate it! Looks like Jerry has more control then everyone thinks. Back to gambling on players with potential "character" issues. How many players will this make in the past 3-4 years? I'm so sick and tired of it.

On top of that, he may be a strong tackler and good at coverage but he will get smoked by the taller receivers (ie NY's Engram and Marshall). He also has a tendency to draw a lot of flags. PI is the absolute worst penalty a team can get in the NFL. This was a step back IMO.
Way to jump off a ledge.

Please enlighten me where I'm wrong or would you like to mark this post and come back to it after he gets smoked against Marshall and their new "tight end"? Please, I honestly want to hear how you expect a 5'8, 188 lb back to consistently cover a 6'3 240-250 lb receiver without holding which is what every article I've read say is one of his biggest weaknesses.
Because he won't be covering only Marshall. You keep saying that and Marshall hasn't even took 1 snap for the Giants yet. By the way mauve you should stop reading and use your eyes and watch him play.

I have never seen a rookie fail before the draft is even over.

No, but in the red zone they will be tough. Ok, you're right, between the two studs we just drafted and who we have on the roster it should be no problem covering OBJ, Shephard, 6'4 Marshall and a 6'3 250 lb "tight end" who runs a 4.42 40 yrd compared to a 5'10 188 lb Lewis who runs a 4.54 40 yrd. Think we're going to be able to double team any of them without serious consequences? Please. Flags will be flying everywhere.

I'm being realistic and concerned, sorry for keeping it real. My only hope, which is very realistic, is our d line will dominate their o lone and Eli won't have time to pass.

Giants might have all these tall WRs and TEs but it might be hard for Manning to get hem the ball when he is his back, looking at the sky.
For sure, and that's what I just put in my latest post. I think we'll still be alright but that o line was also the same o line they had the hear before when they were a top 5 offense. I don't know what happened last year but hopefully it doesn't change.

Awuzie's SPARQ score puts him in the top 10% of all NFL players. He has elite physical traits.

Is there a write-up that comes with this. Because there was a similar one for Taco that had one with it.

Corners are usually always shorter than wide receivers. You're putting way too much on height.
I hope you're right but I'm just going off the articles I've read about Lewis so far.

Edit: I don't think I'm putting "way too much" on height. How many times have we seen Dez or Megatron or some other big receiver just fo up and literally grab the ball 6 inches above the defenders head. If it's thrown right, it's almost impossible to defend against.

Bro, just stop

Panicking use to be the fun thing to do a few years ago, now it's just old.

You are forgetting Oscan, Caroll, Brown, Jones and Heath. I mean since you keeping it real and all. Or you forget to mention how Giants have toliet paper at OL and Eli fading not to mention no run game. If you keep it real like you claim let's really keep it real......unless you like to leave things out

You kind of sound like the person that hated the Dakota pick last year st the draft, then after his first loss, then after his 11 game win streak, then After his othe loss, then after the other winning streak, then the game they gave away and finally his playoff loss. Think they liked a QB from another team more..... can't remember cause I was so tired of all the winning.

Ok, so all these positive stats that people are quoting should be ignored too? Or are you just being close minded and only chose ro believe what you want?

Apparently you have reading comprehension problems, go back and read my posts. I addressed the Giants OL and yes, thankfully their running game is non existent. IMOF, I was lol'in when they took Webb over Perine or Foreman. Lol, they're such idiots but that "tight end" and BM along with OBJ and Shepard scare the hell out of me.
