Yup. Far from a finished product. Gives up plays too. You draft him because of his TO production and hope you can correct his issues and fit your schemeSmall school, small size, lack of discipline, lack of top end speed.
I think the Woods hype has gotten a little out of control. Ever since we found out he was one of the 30 visits, his legend has grown rapidly to the point where people were shocked he "fell" this far when in reality, this is probably right about where he should have been picked.
He fell this deep into the draft because this was a strong draft for DBs and Safeties. Otherwise he would have gone a lot higher.
can you imagine Jordan lewis in another CB starved draft? he could have sniffed RD 1 without his off the field issue. He fell this deep into the draft because this was a strong draft for DBs and Safeties. Otherwise he would have gone a lot higher.
The Debbie downers are to busy rubbing their hands and muttering to themselvesMan its a rare draft when this place is overwhelmingly positive!
All the "draftable" guys get these calls in the 6th-7th round. It's called recruiting.Which tells you that in a draft full of good DB's, he's only a 6th round talent.
That doesn't mean he "fell" that means he got picked where he should have based on his talent.
He just said on the draft show he was getting calls to be a UDFA from other teams before we drafted him.
We still have our previous 6th round pick too?
No Fuzzy, they only gave up next years 5th.No. We swapped picks and gave up the 2018 5th.
Yes!!!!!
People complaining over the Switzer pick can now breathe. We got Woods two rounds later!
4th Safety. Could be 3rd if he really shows up in camp.He is an intriguing prospect but he needs to hit the weight room immediately.
No Fuzzy, they only gave up next years 5th.
Pick 211 is still the Cowboys.
It wasn't even just underwear Olympics. They took some guys that didn't even have athletic upside as well. It was all over the place with no actual draft strategy or approach.
