Personal stats Romo be without peers.
Playoff wise no so good, homes.
Mein dissapointment half been that yes maybe heis ready to go to the next level but at his now fragile (a Italian word) self and advanced age, where do we go, grenadiers off the Internet huh?
Be proactive like the girls approaching Jerra at the club. Say it loud and proud. QB for the future in 1-2 years down the road!!!
Let us see Romo bounce back but get Plan Bee going on a QB 4 the future, dats dope!
Tears cover mein eys so i must go.
holla

Understood.

My heart lives and dies with him.

He reminds me of Don Meredith.

Always getting injured..

showed flashes of brilliance but struggled in the big games.

Finally had to call it quits.

Danny White is another one.

We've had a few.

EXACTLY... we NEED another QB, and not to replace Weeden - if that guy was out there, Weeden would already have been the #3... but we need a new number 2, so here we are, looking at the heap. Wouldn't mind Flynn or anyone with starting experience...

correct. the QB they bring in will not be the # 1 guy and he wont be the # 3 guy. He will be Weeden's back up. Maybe not the first week, but the following week he will be.

Ponder's only real talent is that he has a hot looking wife.

Ponder has prototypical everything.

It just doesn't translate into productivity. He's average at the actual game but he's got Aaron Rodgers type physical attributes.

He was on a team that made the playoffs one year. He also completed less than 50% of his passes that same year and hasn't sniffed a starting lineup since. He was also out of football for quite a while and has been cut from multiple teams that basically have no QB.

The guy is not an NFL QB. I don't understand why he gets mentioned. There are a dozen guys walking the streets right now I'd rather have that can actually throw the ball like an NFL QB. And if you're looking for athleticism, well, there are QBs that can do that too. We even worked out one today I believe (Johnson).

He made the playoffs and won a playoff game, I mean it's not like he's conventional but he can win, teams are unwilling to put up with the baggage that come with him not just off the field but on top of that there's a lot of adjustments that need to happen to make him effective long term. He really only got a fair shake that year in Denver after that he went to the Jets, wasn't given a shot then kind of fell by the way side because of the aforementioned reasons I gave. Like I said too much baggage for us though, Tebow is just impractical but he'd probably get us four games out of eight.

Clearly they are rolling with Weeden but need a back up with NFL game experience.

Weeden knows the offense and regardless if we like it or not, he will be starting.

They are obviously looking at what is currently available with NFL experience for that back up position just in case Weeden goes down.

I like him better than Brandon Weeden

Pretty sure anyone coming in would be a #3 injury insurance guy, so Moore wouldn't take his first real NFL snap under duress.

I thing they actually like Weeden ok

It is pretty sad. Yesterday morning we had one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, now today we are discussing which quarterback to add to the team from a list of players who couldn't make any NFL team.:(

I think were gonna roll with Weeden.

Honestly, I think its too late to find a capable backup. FO had every opportunity in getting a capable backup for Romo and a capable RB to fill in the gap left by Murray. But they didn't and thats their fault.

that may be their undoing. Many people questioned Dallas continued reliance on very questionable backup QB. Especially when you consider they refuse to invest with a meaning draft pick on the position. The thing is Weeden is an extremely nice guy. I remember David Helman talking about Weeden in preseason. How essentially everyone hates the player but Weeden will be standing there with big jolly smile on his face inviting people to golf with him...totally oblivious to what everyone thinks about him. For that reason I want to see him have some success. But this is a predator league and they will not feel sorry for Dallas situation.

Flynn as a back up to Weeden, I'm okay with... not as our starting QB.

Yeah, we're going with Weeden, but we need a number 2, and our two practice squad guys have never played in an NFL game.

Are you questioning the modus operandi of the FO? The FO that is 2-0 right now? I didn't think so.
